Haven for a solo traveller who is looking for peace and nothing to do OR someone who loves surfing the waves, snorkling , scuca or just sipping french coffee at the neighbouring place. The team at 10 rooms was very easy to work with, very accomodating. Arrangements for my pickup and drop were made by the hotel at reasonable rates as was sight seeing. lots of eateres nearly to have fun. The hotel ny iself IS ON THE BEACH. The dising area has th best beach access, NO TV.....great AC. no safe deposit box. but clean adn cofy showers and good basic facilities. the spa has the best view....massage while watching sunset. unreal....

Depending on how you define "hotel", I wouldn't call Ten RooMs a hotel. Rather as an accommodation. This one consists of only 10 simply furnished rooms. The Ten RooMs is located directly on a very beautiful, although unfortunately equally dirty beach section. Unfortunately, you can't walk very far along the beach, as some hotels have the bad habit of fencing off their beach sections with walls. The actual target group of Ten RooM are kitesurfers who come to Bintan over the weekend, for example from Singapore. For them, the accommodation is optimal. But also for those looking for relaxation, it offers quite a lot for a few days. The staff is very friendly and helpful and tries to fulfill every wish. There is a relaxed atmosphere. Most of the time is spent in the shade of the large open pavilion in the middle of the property. Numerous water sports are offered, but then they take place at other locations. Kitesurfing can be done directly at the accommodation, and lessons are also given there. The breakfast is very simple. It actually consists only of an egg dish, toast and coffee or tea. On request, the accommodation offers a few small snacks and drinks can be purchased. Otherwise, around Ten RooMs you will find a few stores for daily needs and local dining opportunities. Super staff, clean and confortable rooms. Right in front of the sea. What else. Right next door there is Michel's restaurant where you never get hungry and the food is so good and fresh! One great spot for chilling and kiting!

This place is not for family. The room is clean but there is no basic things that a hotel usually have like a kettle, coffee/tea, fridge or a cupboard or proper table. Free breakfast includes bread /egg/tea/coffee/ fruits only. There was a power shutdown at midnight and there is no generator back up. No water, a/c after the power cut. Then we checked out and checked into a nearby resort with the family. If you are a solo traveler let on budget , just wants to sleep at night this place is for you. Not recommend for families

If you looking a place for true relax, here is the place. The hotel face to the beach, and good for sun bathing. The sea not suitable for swim but you can enjoy with kayak. The room is simple and clean. Also, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed at Ten Rooms last weekend (Jun 2018) and had a great time. The place was clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The beach and lounging areas are also maintained well. The kitchen provided us with lovely breakfasts and late night snacks, sandwiches. Wish they also start providing lunch/dinner. We had to step out to nearby places for lunch/dinner. (Although there's a lovely pizza place their cab took us to.) I'd certainly go back. :)

This is a wonderful ten room retreat a short journey from Singapore that offers spectacular sea views and balmy sea breezes to lull you to sleep. There's a hammock and beach chairs to curl up in with a book. And an excellen Indonesian zi cha and a great pizza and pasta restaurant right next door. There's a shared kitchen and a spacious al fresco dinning area right next to the beach that's perfect for creating memories to cherish in the company of your friends and family. The rooms are all en suite, clean, and with suprising few insects. All sorts of sea sports and activities are available, and the friendly, helpful staff can arrange excursions like deep sea fishing, evening fireflies mangroove trip, snorkeling and diving. At low tide you can walk for miles on the shallow sea bed seaching for that perfect sea shell and perhaps catch a glimpse of a shy mud crab hurriedly burying itself in the soft white sand.…
