Onong is a tiny resort on SIladen Island. It only has about 10 rooms - the four with a sea view are MUCH better. The resort is right on the sea front. There is no beach at high tide and a big rocky wall to protect the rooms. As has been commented before, there are only 6 sun beds for...

Great feeling on the small paradise island. Not far away from the Mapia resort which is the sister resort from Onong resorts. Both resorts are managed by Celebis resort. The combination holidays are recommendable. Nice beach, nice snorkeling, nice diving in Bunaken national park.

We stayed here for several nights and think it is ideally placed to enjoy the diving around this area. Boat rides are really great as you get to the dive sites which are also extremely beautiful, turtles guaranteed nearly on all of them! The area has a lot of dolphins which is fun to experience as they ride the waves...

We spent one night at Onong, as a stopover on the way from Ternate back to Bandung. No time to dive, as I was flying later that day, but I joined a dive party and snorkelled over a nearby reef. Coral condition was excellent, fish plenty, and turtles in abundance. The resort is so relaxing, with comfortable spacious bungalows on...

Onong resort is a place where you leave your shoes at the doorstep and put them back on when you leave. Sand everywhere, even in the restaurant so you can dig in your feet while eating. Diving is magnificent in the National Park, one of the best places I've seen so far. Famous for it's critters you can also see...

We stayed here (2 adults, 2 pre-teen kids) for a few days on a recommendation of friends of ours. The resort is on a small much more quiet syster island of Bunaken but within the national park. We had friendly staff, big fresh rooms, very good dive guides and excellent food. Planning to go back in coming March, bringing along...

When you stay in a friendly resort, managed by inspiring and interesting people, helping you to discover this island, knowing the names of each bird or fish, sleeping with the sound of the waves, showering with salty water, I can tell you: you don't want to leave. Two days on Onong Siladen were enough to be immediately homesick while back...

I spent two perfect weeks in the Onong resort in September. If you look for a super relaxing quiet peaceful scuba diving vacation, this is your place to go. Rooms basic but with AC, mini bar and very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and who needs a hot shower every day anyway in that hot summer climate, right? Tip:...

Superb dive location, basic but clean rooms, friendly staff and professional guides, good food. In short - high value for money in the middle of Bunaken National Park, one of the best dive spots in the world.
