Lovely location. We were we beach front, pool access about 10mt. Clean room, hot water, cold air. What more can you want. Your not living in it. Sheets and towels changed daily fridge in room. Staff are faultless, cant help you enough. Breakfast was ok, but is low season so very quiet here, they will try to provide you with what you ask. Remember no pork here so no bacon. Plenty of restaurant close and great variety to choose from. Mini mart ( no beer) very close and bakery( has beer) just around corner. Rocket chicken across the rd which is like red rooster / kfc combined. We will certainly stay again. For under $40pn it is certainly fine.
Stayed for two nights whilst catching up with our ‘traveler’ son. Really good value, but we paid 100k more, per night, for a beach view room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was OK, however the whole place is rather tired, and in need of a refurb. Beach front location, so good to walk to other restaurants, but wouldn’t rush back. Not the fault of the hotel, but I would stay closer to the center of Senggigi if visiting again.
This place is great if you're looking for ocean breeze, peaceful, yet not too far from restaurants and cafes. Because this cottages located in the main road of Senggigi. If you have plan to go to Gilis, then this is one of your best transit for the night before you go to take a boat to Gilis. I like the fact that the pool is near the shore, and at night, you can sit around the pool, and hear the ocean breeze, as you see the night stars.
Batu Bolong Cottages is a lovely beachfront hotel that has a l traditional balinese feel. They did not sustain damage from the earthquake and they are open I recommend you give it a try! We always upgrade to the upstairs rooms overlooking the pool so that we can see the lovely sea view - but they do have several room options available. I always appreciate have a fridge and my husband likes the flat screen TV. I think they are one of the best values in this area because I have stayed in several hotels in this price range and always come back here. I like to wake up and hear the waves!
My husband and I stayed in a room next to the pool, just a few steps away from the beach. There are more rooms across the road. The pool is very nice, but the beach is great! The sunset was amazing. The rooms are simple and the bathroom could use a shower curtain, but the service at the reception and restaurant were very good.
i gave this hotel 5 star bc they gave me when i asked bed cover for my room, i can't sleep without blanket and the view from pool to the sea are nice but to be honest the system are not good but overall good enough for stay bc the staff are friendly too :) ah i forgot took a picture of the hotel just took some selfie pics there so i won't share here
Good location on Sengiggi beach, at about km 8. A variety of rooms available on both sides of the main road. We made our booking many months ago, and requested that we be given an upstairs, seaview room. When we arrived, we were informed that upstairs rooms were full, and they had only ground floor rooms available. We stayed one night, and then moved to another place that had an upstairs room. (fewer mosquitoes , and a sea breeze). The hotel has a restaurant. We had their included breakfast, which was very basic. The room we had was clean, and appeared well maintained. If we had received the type of room requested, we would have stayed much longer.
We arrived in Senggigi without a hotel booking, but were very easily accommodated albeit short notice, at these cottages about 1km from the town. The hotel offers seaside cottages and garden cottages, of which we chose the latter as the price was very reasonable at IDR 450K. The rooms are basic with a four poster double bed, a bathroom with handheld shower, TV and aircon. The shower has no shower curtain so it can get rather messy in the bathroom after one showers, but at least the water is hot and has good water pressure. Free wifi is available in the rooms as well as the restaurant across the road. The breakfast choice is simple, but sufficient. One has a choice between American, Continental, Chinese or Indonesian. There is no safe in the room, but a safety deposit box is available at reception. Our stay was by no means luxurious, but it provided our basic needs especially for our purposes of starting our trekking tour to Mount Rinjani. …
For the entire Bali Tour, it was one of the worst experience ever. The room looks like a Slum. The AC do not work at all. The Bathroom is the worst. Simple push shower is not available at the bathroom. They have 2 main cottages. The cottages that are on the other side of the road, the condition is stated as above. However, on the side of the road the cottages are far more better. They do not even offered us complimentary buffet breakfast as the guests are in low number.
Stayed one night in batu bolong cottages is one of them recomended staying ,the room is clean and large and also the service is good one ,they help us so alot ,the more important is the price is good..the place so silent nice to take a rest all night
