We were so happy to discover this little gem. In a secure gated courtyard, this family run guesthouse offers clean, comfortable rooms with air conditioning, bathroom, satellite TV, private verandah area and a good breakfast for a modest budget price. The staff speak good English, the owners often pop by and are so friendly and helpful, and offered help and advice with our itinerary around Lombok and local information. After a week travelling around Lombok, we realised more what value for money 99 offered and so spent our last night back here and will be returning guests for sure. We have recommended this guesthouse to friends who also were impressed. It is situated down a quiet lane way off the main road which is walking distance to Mataram Mall, Cakranegara Markets (colourful local market for fresh produce plus souvenirs and local wares) and many retail outlet shops nearby for bargain shopping. A great location for tourists who want to be handy for local attractions and get a feel for the area and yet enjoy comfort and good value for money.…
