We stayed for 2 nights after evacuating the Gili Islands after the earthquake. The rooms were basic with no hot water or WiFi but the bed was actually very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The room was very clean with nice linen and fluffy towels. The staff was very kind and helpful. They brought us breakfast to our rooms (coffee, tea, and jaffles- chocolate spread between two pieces of white bread put in a panini press). We weren’t expecting this so maybe it was because of the general craziness with the earthquake but it was very welcome after a rough night of aftershocks. Overall very basic accommodations but a well-run place in a central location in Mataram.

-No hot water -No wifi -Bad location -Receptionist spoke zero English - Woke us up at 7 for 'breakfast' everyday during our stay despite us asking them not to. Breakfast consisted of a piece of toast and stale coffee -Bathroom smelled weird, they had to spray it with air freshener before we went in -Room was clean when we arrived but they didn't clean it at all during our stay -Good AC -I had the room booked for 8 days but had to cut my stay short because I was extremely uncomfortable. They refused give me a refund. Overall, very uncomfortable, very disappointing. Worst experience I've had in both Bali and Lombok.
