We stayed one night in Victor 2. Room wasn't really clean but for the price okay. But when we woke up in the morning we were covered in Bed Bug bites! Had quite fun with that during the rest of our traveling. Be careful and check the rooms well!!!! We stayed in the last room closest to the street upstairs in Victor 2.
Hotel Melati Viktor is comprised of different buildings. We stayed in Viktor 1. You can choose different quality and different priced rooms. We stayed in a simple room for 120K per night for 3 nights. The room was simple. A bed, a fan, two bedside tables, a western style toilet (you can ask for toilet paper at the reception desk) and a cold shower. We were pleased with the room as we didn't need anymore. The bed was extroardinarily comfortable and the rooms are reasonably clean. Be aware though that one can hear everything through the walls. You get tea or coffee for free at any time of the day and complementary breakfast every morning. The breakfast is as simple as the rooms. Toast with chocolate spread and hardboiled eggs with seasalt. (Eggs are from their own chickens) You also get free water but it is a shame that the water is in plastic cups which isn't good for the environment. The hotel itself is a pretty place and you can hang out in front of your room on chairs and just relax with a drink in your hand in the centre of town. …
My third time at Viktor 1, and stayed at Viktor 2 also. I'm unsure how they are related. It's a good arrangement, where each place offers a different level of accommodation and features, and so price points. I'm happy without AC generally, and don't want hot water, and so Victor 1 is my choice. (AC is available here too). Price at Viktor 1 Rp 120 r pn. ( Last year Viktor 2 Rp 150r). Coffee/tea, with toast & egg for breakfast is fine, and good value. Staff can be very friendly, or a bit slack, depending. (Reading Trip advisor reviews show this every where!). My room has been recently renovated, with a lovely clean new bathroom installed. TV is good (but not perfect). This place does the job for a cheap, well located stay in a biggish town. Really good value for Indonesia.
Quiet place, nice spacious rooms, TV with lots of channel to ciew, large bathrooms. The air conditioner was good and so was wi-fi. A bit hidden but did not think it is that far from the main city malls if needed.
Just the noise of dogs, roosters, chickens, ducks that is enough to keep you awake all nights. Ask an ouest room or upstairs room. But upstairs there is no water pressure to get the hot water😢the breakfast is free no much variety and the same every morning.the room are clean but Unfinished . Need to ask for toilet paper, towels, bed sheets. But the staff is very nice and polite. For going to Sumbawa Besar we asked the hotel for a good but company, the price was high, the VIP bus was the commun's people bus after 25 km the bus got broken wait on the side of the road for 2 hours with a half bus replacement the people were sitting every where. Good experience more happen after but this is not the place to do it. I recommande this hotel .
Clean and tidy rooms, staff is friendly and helpful, location is very good. The only annoyance are the flying alarm clocks (caged birds) in the yard. They get quite loud in the morning. Take a room at Viktor 3 if possible (only place to get wifi).
A budget hotel room. With a TV and ensure bathroom (without AC and fan) for 120k rupiahs. Staff is friendly and a big dog is docile and handsome. It comes with a simple toast and boiled egg with tea/coffee (ask for no sugar as it is very sweet). Staff kindly allowed us to keep our bags while we were away. We feel safe with this hotel. This is the 3rd time we stay with Viktor 1. Nearby food that is worth a try are: -Ayam Goreng By Fenny G (along PancaUsaha, from Viktor, turn right and cross the road around 5mins walk - shop is Green in color) - for fried chicken or duck with rice. - Mie Ayam Hijao Mak Nyoss! (along Panc Usaha, from Viktor, turn left and cross the road around 5mins walk - shop is also green in color) - for noodle soup - Cafe (with good coffee and WiFi): Zet Zot (along Maktal road - from Viktor, turn right and cross the road, around 2 lanes parallel to where Viktor is) there are many modern cafes located in that area. - Ruby supermarket (along Jalan Pejanggik 10mins walk away, a local supermarket for daily sundries - but no fresh food, at local price) - Hero supermarket (inside Mataram Mall) - To try local food, we went to Mirasa bakery (along Jalan Pejanggik junction - from Mataram Mall main entrance follow the traffic until the traffic light). Near to Cakranegara market. Staff at Hotel Viktor is willing to rent their own motorbike or to help you call Mr.Hamdan to arrange for motorbike rental (70-75rb per 24 hours). Otherwise, Oka & Sons will be willing to help you arrange for motorbike for rental. Motorbike will be delivered to hotel and pick up from hotel at no extra charge. He will keep a copy of your identification card, but the original certificate for the motorbike will be given to you with the motorbike and helmet.…
People are awful and full of scams for foreigners. I never felt so frustrated in my life with this place. Forget about the boats to Gili ... They ask you for more money. The bedrooms are normal but not clean. Wi-fi doesn't work that good.
Good value for the price. Clean room and helpfull staff. Simple breakfast. We stayed 2 days. We recommende this place for short matara stay. Staffs give very good recommendations for shopping places. Secure place
We stayed at Viktor 3 - by the look of the pictures this wasn't the same place but I believe the same owner as the address is the same. For our price (250,000 IDR) to put three people in an aircon room, we got a great value. They were super kind and helpful, even brought up an extra mattress and pillow for us. The room and bathroom were clean and downright fancy for budget travel - high ceilings, LCD screen, fancy carvings on bannisters and balcony. The hotel owner was very honest and helpful in helping us choose someone to book a Rinjani trip with. The Free breakfast was actually tasty coffee and pressed chocolate toast sandwiches, not bad. Great stay!
