The hotel has good food and service but if you don't get a room with a balcony with sea view you miss out on its great location. They first gave us a room with a pillar inside near the bed, when I complained switched to another room. I was so relieved I didn't realize there was no view just seeing the second section with balconies from a high window. It spoiled our stay. Beware

We visited over Passover as part of an organized package program. Being with a tour organizer may differ from the usual hotel services, however, we found our stay entirely satisfactory. The lobby makes a nice impression with a dairy restaurant/bar and plenty of seating, even if one isn’t eating at the restaurant. The kosher for Passover meals were not gourmet quality, but there were many choices and a good salad bar at all meals. Hotel services in the dining rooms & bedrooms were efficient and courteous. Towels were replaced twice daily. We were in a 10th floor room with a large balcony with city views. The room itself had been recently renovated. It was quiet, in a two room alcove shared with our family members. We were impressed with the large size of the hotel room compared with that of other Israeli hotels. Beds were comfortable, a pull out twin bed was available in an large cushioned chair, a desk was provided with lighting, storage space was ample for our luggage and belongings, and a mini-fridge was provided (free of the usual minibar junk food at ridiculous prices!). The bathroom had no tub, but had a very nice walk-in rain head shower and hand-held spray. Beyond the hotel room, there’s a very nice spa with indoor heated lap pool, jacuzzi, wet & dry saunas, small exercise room/gym. The outdoor pool is not heated, but is very large with ample lounges and chairs and a popular poolside burger bar. One can access the adjacent beach via a staircase from the pool without having to cross any streets. The Herzliya mall & marina are a short walk away, and there’s a supermarket around the block. Would recommend this hotel.

The check in was great got there a bit late wanted to eat somewhere but the hotel restaurants were closed already so the woman at front desk directed us where to go that was open late. The room was spacious and the view was magnificent! We booked a massage at the spa which was awesome! The food was very good at breakfast and we ate in the bar restaurant during the day. We even got complimentary fruit and chocolates when told the guest relations manager how good service they give. Will come again next time I am in Israel!

The staff was not client oriented, they didn't make sure our stay was at least decent, not even a hello or congratulation (it was our anniversary), even if this aspect was stated at the moment of booking and in a separated mail addressed to the team. We requested a room with sea view and did not look at the price.Instead, we were offered a room facing the noisy pool. The balcony was dirty and in the room everything was dusty. The design of the room is so old, don t look at the pictures from their website because they don t reflect the reality. All the towels smell like mold, you can t even take a shower and feel clean. We requested 2 bathrobes that were supposed to be in the room upon arrival (that s what they advertise in the room description) but of course we needed to request them from the reception. They brought them after 2 hours only after we called them again to remind them what to do.Of course also the bathrobes were smelling like mold and were wet :( The staff does not care about the guest's needs nor expectations, they just want the money which is not cheap compared with the current situation and the service offered. The breakfast is less than minimal,at the end of it you will still feel hungry. They have salads made probably on the day before, not fresh at all, no fruits except watermelon and few croissants. A friendly advice for whoever wants to book this hotel: don't- it s a waste of time, money and you will get disappointed so don t even bother.

We stayed as a family with 2 young kids and a baby for 6 nights in January 2020.
We ordered the Junior mini suite for December 31st to January 6th.
Received a large room comparing with the average sizes of hotel rooms in Israel and a great view to the sea but those were the only good things about it. it was located on level -1 which seemed a bit odd. It looked old and dirty. The beds weren't sufficient. 1 crib 1 queen bed (composed of 2 single beds) and 1 very bent opening sofa for 1 person.
When we arrived at 1:30am after a long journey from Texas we filled the bathtub just to find out the water are yellow.
Our requests from the lobby clerk were answered with such contempt :" you should suffer this night, tomorrow talk with the management and move to a different hotel"
"This is the same color of water in all the hotel "- 10 minutes later the water became normal.
"I'm sorry this isn't the water you're used to"
Such a bad rep. Really awful experience and service.
The food was okay and there were some helpful workers but that's it.
Our email to the hotel's manager wasn't responded yet.

Unfortunately - This hotel has seen much better days.
We are here for 3 days (2 nights), took 2 rooms and paid top premium prices that are probably par with the most luxurious hotels.

However - Sinificint wear and tear, bad smell in the rooms, rugs are stained, shower and fosits are in bad shape, even the pool area and the way to the pool are dirty and no real attention to cleansing the surroundings.

What an anticlimactic experience.
The staff however do care but that doesn't help the experience while we're here to try and make this experience pleasant.

My husband and I are here now and were hoping for a relaxing night away at the beach, but unfortunately the hotel is a huge disappointment.

The facilities: Firstly, the hotel is facing the beach, but doesn’t provide any towels or chairs for the beach. I had been looking forward to sitting on the beach, but the hotel doesn’t facilitate that, and you need to pay privately for beach chairs. The chairs at the pool are sagging, falling apart and not at all comfortable. In order to get one tiny towel you need to use your key, and no more than one small towel is allowed per person, I have never seen this at any decent hotel.

The room: the room itself is small, poorly kept, there is a large pillar in the middle of the room, paint is peeling, bathroom has stains on the floor, and the bathroom wall is glass that is see through but can be opacified with a switch. Not sure why someone would need to or want to see someone else using the restroom, but it is definitely not for me.

On the plus side, the weather is excellent and got to enjoy a nice walk outside.

Bottom line: if you need a place to crash, rest your head and quickly leave the next morning, the Daniel is fine, but if you are looking for an enjoyable hotel look elsewhere

The Hotel is very nice, very well located but the people that works in are absolutely not friendly, not kind and actually rude being even cynical sometimes.
It's my second time staying in less than two months. Definitely the last.
Me, a client that would be going to Tel Aviv for at least once per month will decline your hotel for very bad service.
My main suggestion for the company, it's trainning your employees to learn everything about good service.
A great Hotel without kind treatment and service, means nothing.
The bad fame spreads around fast thanks to internet.
So... Good luck

Loads of issues. First room they gave me had mold. Took a long time to switch rooms, then the second room stunk of cigarette smoke.

The furniture had stains, the shower didn’t drain and I saw multiple roaches in the lobby. They replaced the bars of soap every day, for no reason. They left empty tissue box in the bathroom despite me asking twice to have it replaced.

Upon checkin the front desk told me they were having a special deal for breakfast each morning at 30% off, but each time I went down to breakfast they would charge me full price and I would have to have a 5 minute argument about the price. They called me crazy and expected me to remember the name of the woman who told me about the deal like I was trying to rip them off. After two tries, I gave up and started getting breakfast at the cafe across the street.

I don’t expect much as I am a business traveler - a clean room and decent food. They could deliver on neither.

Great service, cur-ties staff. The room was clean. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The bar at the pool is way expensive, but that’s how it is in all hotels unfortunately... Also, I would pay attention to the pool restroom though, they were very dirty and felt like public toilets.
The spa crew was great! Great massage.
Will definitely come back there and recommend others.
