The staff was pleasant and efficient. The building was clean and well maintained. The food was average to middling. The major complaint was the cost. One paid first class prices for what was essentially a glorified youth hostel,

The Ruth Daniel Residence is light and airy, and we were satisfied with the size and condition of the room. And the location is great. BUT, we had a lot of issues. We made a reservation for 3 nights, and when we arrived they had us booked for only 2 nights (we had never received written confirmation). They did have...

I am sure Ruth Daniel Building was not intend to be a hotel, Form outside it look more like a Jewish Seminary college, and inside, the breakfast room look like a meeting assembly Hall, the staffs are more like teachers, inspecting watching us eating rather than helping us. The hotels received lots of religious group, On the plus side it...

This place was clean and tidy. The food was really great and it felt like home. The rooms were kind of small but they had balconies and good wifi. The reception was very nice. And best of all was the location in Jaffa! It was right next to the soccer stadium, while also being close to the center of town...

It is a great place with very kind receptionists. Beside the fact that Israelis are cold, there was a girl on the reception that was willing to help for everything I asked. The room has enough space and is regular clean. The toilet was not bad but not perfect... I like this hotel because it on a walking distance from...

The staff at reception were very helpful. One young woman helped me rewrap my shofar; she used to work at a gift shop. The free parking is accessible off a side street behind the hotel; call the number on the sign on the gate to be let in. Room 502 was fine with a nice view of the plaza below....

There is a new Chef at this former youth hostel . Chef Eitan comes from the world of private restaurants and applies his culinary talents and good nature to his cooking . Dinner was really good ! Feels much more like a nice 4 star hotel... With good food!

In general, the hotel is average. The service is OK, everyday rooms cleaning, friendly reception. Rooms are normal (at least at the fifth floor). Food is average with more tasty and attractive lunches and dinners than breakfasts when scrambled eggs were of a very strange taste. The locartion is ok, 10-15 min walk to the beach, old Jaffa flee market...
