For the price of a luxury hotel, we got an old, degraded and badly maintained room. The bathroom situation was a shame. This hotel should have long passed a complete renovation. Also, they seem to welcome large groups of youngsters who behave like they were in a youth hostel, including screaming and slamming doors at 2-3 am. Avoid this hotel...

The location is beautiful. The breakfast very good. When we arrived, I joked that I cannot wait to see the view from the room. The answer was :there is a window, but no view. But I saw the picture on booking.com. No, you are in the .... wing. That is what you paid for. $190 !!! The room was shabby....

I participated in a conference in the hotel in Kibbutz Lavi. Upon arrival at the venue, nestled in the hills of the Galilea, I felt as if I had been instantly transported to Europe. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The view from every area is stunning!! Good kosher food. Beautiful meeting halls, perfect for conferences or events. An hour...

This is a simple but nice hotel. My room was clean, with very pretty artful type lighting on each side of the bed, and a mosaic done in tile on bathroom floor. This is a religious Kibbutz. I really enjoyed that and learning about the simple Kibbutz lifestyle. Visitors here should not expect this to be like a fancy big...

Nice for a kibbutz hotel. Dated rooms. Not kept in best repair. Had to get the bathroom lock fixed and the room safe did not work. Religious hotel but not strict. Food is good from the dining room and the aka carte bar.

The first standard room we were allocated was big but rather dated. However on inspecting the bathroom we immediately saw that the shower was broken. When we reported this to the team at the reception they were most apologetic and immediately found us another room which was an upgrade. This room was fine albeit smaller and quite modern. However, there...

Such a beautiful experience staying at this modern and very clean hotel. It's a unique experience to stay in a Kibbutz where one can witness how a community functions. Families with children abound and it is a beautiful sight to see. The food was homey and the best I had in All Israel, as if all your Israeli aunties were...

Hotel Lavi is a fascinating place to stay. The hotel caters to a mostly observant religious clientele. We came up for Shabbat with friends and family. This is a very kid friendly place with lots of young children running everywhere. So don't come if you are looking for a quiet couples weekend, for example. The rooms are bare bones minimum...
