I am all for quaint, but must tell you that this hotel really disappointed. You can see the other comments, which pretty much mirror our experience. What was really weird is that the front desk told me they were having a problem with their credit card machine and I had to pay for the room in cash. Yet, when we...

I stayed at the hotel following a warm recommendations. However, it was a colossal disappointment. If we have received a room with a view we could feel much better. We received a tiny room which was unpleasant. We will not return.

Price was great, hotel wasn't so great. Rooms were semi-clean (Sheets and linens were clean, carpets were quite worn/dirty), common areas of hotel were quite worn. View from hotel was amazing, but nothing inside the hotel was worth viewing. There are better hotels in the area, but for the money, this is a JUST adequate place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The stuff was very polite and helpful. The dinner was good. The view and the atmosphere is very nice. The hotel arranged a 3 hours tour to Nazareth with the guide Hanny an excellent guide - no extra charge. The breakfast was o.k., the rooms are simple but o.k. The only problem in...

After booking I checked the reviews (I know - I did it backwards) and I was a little concerned about the negative comments. It is true that the rooms are small but everything was clean and the outside noise stayed outside. Breakfast was generous. Coming from the heat and humidity of Tel Aviv, it was a thrill to be able...

This hotel was a monastery. The people who bought it made it a hotel- leaving some of the ambiance- lke the furniture in the lobby and some of the walls in the rooms. It is set in the highest place in Nazareth- so from the room and the patio/veranda you have a great view of the city. The rooms are...

This was once a cloistered monestory. Now it is a modern hotel - not fully modern however! TV was not working and the bathroom was small and crammed. The restaurant was great and overall the hotel had a very good ambiance. No wi-fi though. Good value for money provided you are around for just a day. Short on luxury comforts....

From the outside, the "hotel" is quite stunning. The views are breathtaking! And that, fellow tripadvisor readers will be the climax of your stay in this hotel. Its all downhill from there. The rooms are DISGUSTINGLY dirty, badly furnished, tiny and smell of damp. Dinner was so bad (apart from the humus and salads) that I felt sick just looking...
