I stayed with my wife and friends at the David Tower for a Friday-Saturday. While there are many good things to say about the hotel, like cleanliness, location, sea view, walking distance to the beach, there is a downside when it comes to staying at this hotel for religiously observant couples. The hotel serves a day night dinner (quite adequate) and a Saturday morning breakfast. There is no lunch served at the hotel on Saturday. That was not really so bad as the Sabbath ends at 5:30 pm. But ut wikld be a problem in the summer when sabbath ends at 20:00. There is also no hot water, coffee, and tea freely available during the sabbath. That was most disappointing. And after Friday night dinner, when I asked for a cup of tea, I was asked to pay for it - something that I felt was unacceptable. Tea and coffee were freely available Saturday morning at breakfast. Breakfast also seems to overlap with synagogue prayer times so if you come back late, there may be no breakfast being served. Just be aware if you decide to go fo a sabbath stay.

Rooms are comfortable. The pool is really small and during our stay it was so crowded (although the pandemic) that nobody could swim (assuming the estimated length of 12.5 meters is enough, certainly it is not enough for experienced swimmers). Children cannot enter the pool because it's within the hotel's SPA.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The service, the food and the rooms were immaculate. The hotel sits on the beautiful beach strip. Two minute walk from the hotel to the beach. Professional spa, great treatment. Small pool. Small gym. Great for couples, family and friends.

Spectacular first impression! Gives an air of Trump Towers with all the gold accents. Beds were comfortable. Nice view of the Mediterranean, quiet rooms, most elegant elevators we’ve ever seen, but the piece d’resitance was the breakfast bar! Spoiled us for the rest of the hotels we stayed at. Unbelievable spread!! couldn’t wait for the fresh honeycomb on fresh bread! Oh, my! Walking path across the street that stretched for miles & is located just around the corner from shopping, bakeries, juice bars, & mingling with the locals.
