The guy at the reception was incredibly rude and could not give a toss whether or not we were there. The rooms were reasonably clean... but only just. Electrical plugs were hanging off the wall with exposing wires. The overall state of the hostel is just really bad... everything looks and feels worn down. Would not recommend, chances are that...

Don't get me wrong I have stayed in better, but for the price this hotel come hostel is great. The bed was really comfortable. Pillows could be improved ours were like bricks. Fridge, air con, reasonably clean. We had a room at the back and it was lovely and quiet. Breakfast is not included but can be had for extra...

Aviv Hotel is a bare bones, budget place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are more or less clean - just don't check the corners too closely. If budget is a prime concern then it's okay, but no more than that.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Aviv Hostel in May 2014. We originally booked one night in a private room and were assigned to room 259. our stay was excellent....Great price, friendly staff, scolding hot water, free wifi and a phenomenal view of this Sea of Galilee! What more can you ask for? we woke up the following morning...

we decided to go for is one, as we spent a lot in Dead sea area, the room was spacious, with separate (with bit too few kitchen tools and glasses, if family bigger than 1+1, decide to come and pot, and pan. so minimum, )kitchinette, and separate bathroom, The bed was really comfortable, sheets perfectly clean, but there was some...

The answer is when it is a hostel. That was my dilemma before we got there. This hostel has a split personality. It tries to be a hotel and a hostel. The real Aviv Hotel is a stones throw away to the east and looks more upmarket. However this proved to be really good value and our double room was...

Will stay here again no problem despite the basic qualities. Never expected much so no disappointments. Not sure about food options as what I saved was spent eating in nice restaurants close to base. Tried their bike hirer- two punctures (probably from previous bad repairs. Stay clear of this service!) They did attend to my requests and gave helpful advice...

You may choose between "hostel" dorm rooms and more standard "hotel" rooms. We were a group of five and got a six bed dorm by ourselves, simple rooms with good beds, balcony and refrigerator. The cheapest night on our trip around Israel. And the breakfast next door is great! The only drawback was the bathroom floor that was filled with...

I walked in after driving around all day and interrupted the manager/ owner having a smoke, but he didn't mind and was very friendly! I asked for a single room and he gave me a free upgrade to a room with a massive balcony over looking the city which was great! Really made my day! The breakfast next door is...

This place is ok for the night, spacious rooms, decent beds and an overwhelming big breakfast (worth the extra ILS80). End of November is a quite time to travel in Tiberias, the staff was also quite. When asking for something, it felt like I disturbed them watching their favorite soap. Also, from minute 1 staff called me 'friend', but that...
