First time in the city and area. The staff is helpfull with where to go, find places to eat, hiking places. It has a roof, games, event tv, shared common area, kitchen. I talked with cool people from the us and had some beer on the roof.
I spent almost a week at this wonderful place with me partner, and I appreciated the stay so much. We stayed in a private room, with a comfortable bed, television, bathroom and shower. It was simple, but with charisma. The included breakfast was also simple, tasty, fresh, and really cozy. The staff were all very relaxed and friendly, and I enjoyed very much meeting and conversing with other guests staying at the hostel. One of the highlights was celebrating shabbat there together. Thank you for taking such good care of us, and for being compassionate and warm. I highly recommend going to Tiberias Hostel if you’re in the area - even if you aren’t! All the best Jonathan
I wanted to book directly a bed in 8 bed dorms I saw online, so I just walked-in without a reservation and asked for a bed for the night. The receptionist and owner who attended that day said that due to a bug in the booking system it doesn't get an accurate read of the availability. I was very happy when they offered to upgrade me to a bed in a 4 bed dorm WITH bathroom/shower ensuite at the same price! Thank you!! They also offered recommendations for Falafel and fresh juice nearby. The room was great, with an air condition and even a small fridge. The bathroom was clean and functional. Linen and a towel included. There is a cool rooftop with a bar in the evening! Lots of communal space including a pool table and tv room. Strong wi-fi. The hostel is in a prime location, right at the heart and main streets of the cities, with supermarkets, restaurants, central bus station, and all bus stops to the various points of interest around the Sea of Galilee, and the beaches of course. Enjoyed every minute and will return!…
Loved this place! Practical facilities, helpful staff (sorted a few problems, allowed luggage storage even day after check out), great rooftop space, comfortable! Would highly recommend it! Bathrooms very hot but otherwise well air conditioned.
Overall positive hostel experience. They do charge to rent a towel. There was a lot of noise outside my room but it is what it is it happens sometimes. I would stay again next time I’m in town. It is in a great location in the town center and the staff was friendly.
Not the London Ritz or the Waldorf Astoria but neat, pleasant and well kept. The room was spacious, and immaculately clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were fair and affordable. We will gladly visit again.
If you travel around the see of Galilee and looking for a place to stay- this is the best place! Great for backpackers. Chaep price. clean kitchen with everything you need. Party on the rooftop. Nice people. Highly recommended.
The location is nice, we walked 10 minutes to a restaurant area in Galilee see.The checkin was fast and our private room was Ok, clean linen and bathroom. It's near a parking area where from 20:00hs to 8:00am is free of charge. It was not so easy to find the place, they should make the outdoor sign bigger. I didn't sleep well because a group arrived after 23:00hs and they made a lot of noise until 1:00am, outside and inside their rooms, I could hear everything. I tried to complain in the reception, but there was no one there. It would be good if the hostel explicitly advise guests about silence during the night.
The location of the hostel was very good, a few minutes away from the lakeside. The facilities were good, lots of communal areas, there even was a terrace with view on the Galilee Sea. The staff was lovely!
It’s bang right in the city centre!!! Literally 2 minutes walk from the Sea of Galilee and the starting point of the marathon. Couple of lovely restaurants around and also enough shops. Traffic was gentle even on the weekdays. The night prior to the marathon....it was bustling with runners and great time chatting with people from different parts of the world....although it was a full house , it was quite and everyone respected the regulations and other people’s space!!! excellent value for money. Safe, clean, comfortable for what pay. It served my purpose. The kitchen and common room were kept spick and span. Most of all...the best part of the hostel was that the receptionists are courteous, friendly and proficient. The Sea of Galilee could be seen from my window and this photographic view I have posted was taken 3 minutes away from where I stayed. On the opposite side are the mountains. Enjoy your time in Galilee, the land where The Nazarene did great things with the local fish, water, bread and then went on to walk on water! Shalom to you…
