Our group of forty Americans stayed here Nov. 28-Dec1 2019. We arrived around 9:30 p.m. On Thanksgiving. We had traveled many hous r via tour bus from Morgan Land, St. Catherine City. I had it in my mind that we would be served a delicious American Thanksgiving Dinner upon our arrival! LOL, in my dreams. We had not eaten since noon so besides being weary, we were famished. Upon entering our room, we discovered our meals neatly wrapped, which consisted of a tuna fish sandwich, a lunch meat sandwich and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers!!! It wasn't roast turkey with all the trimmings, but it tasted ok.........just disappointing as we thought about our families back home. Ron Beach has 122 rooms, a Bar, a Fittness Room, a huge dining room, an open dining room veranda, children playground, and a swimming pool. The buffets were excellent. We especially liked and enjoyed the outside seating which was very comfortable and relaxing., it is a very nice place.

First thing I loved about this hotel was the beautiful beach front views of the Sea of Galilee from our room. The second was the food; both breakfast and dinner were solid, so many options, and all very fresh. And when I say so many, I mean SO MANY. Guaranteed you will find something you like. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean.
The hotel staff also brought our group of 50 people's luggage up to their floor. We appreciate the hospitality and great service.

We always stay here as part of a McCabe Pilgrimage(27 of us) and after waiting 2 years due to Covid we were back! How lovely it was to be greeted like family by the family who own it when we arrived and it was so good to see everything was up to the usual high Ron Beach standard!
The rooms which all have Sea of Galilee views were lovely- absolutely spotless and cleaned beautifully each day.
The garden and swimming pool so wonderful to relax in with the Sea of Galilee right in front of you!
The food again absolutely divine - so many delicious choices of everything and David the restaurant manager his usual gracious self.
How fortunate we were to have the time there to relax after a busy day exploring what this part of the Holy Land has to show us.
Than you thank you all Ron Beach staff for making our stay so memorable.

The showers are hot and powerful, the rooms are very spacious and many lead into the courtyard where you can see the water. The buffet breakfast/dinner is incredible and has a lot of different foods. One of the hallways smelled a little funny but the hotel is right on the water, so that may be it. The lobby was very nice and had good sitting areas. Located far from stores but if you are on a tour, it shouldn't be a problem.

This hotel, with perfect views of the Sea of Galilee, was exceptional in every way. The individual rooms were spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean; the dining room was bright, comfortable, and roomy. The staff was very attentive, especially in the dining room. The breakfast and dinner buffets were the BEST we have ever experienced on a pilgrimage, with loads of hot and cold options including a salad bar which was picture perfect, extremely fresh, and showed off the country's wonderful fruits and vegetables. Highly recommend this property!

We arrived very tired and were welcomed by delightful staff.
Our room was very comfortable although a long long way from the restaurant. I would say something like 1/4 of a mile. It seemed to take ages to get there. The view in the morning over the Sea of Galilee was stunning to wake up to..
But when you got to the restaurant the food was absolutely amazing.
Everything was fresh. The bread was cooked in the hotel and was hot . Served with butter you felt you had died and gone to heaven. I have never seen a salad starter buffet like it. A minimum of 20 different dishes that changed each night. The chef was truly inspired. One night whole cooked salmons were served as a starter.
The mains were a little more basic but so tasty. Prepared with care. The ice cream I’m sure was home made. Perfect and I’m not usually keen on ice cream. The strawberry flavour was divine.
This hotel would certainly set a very high benchmark to compare other hotels.to. After staying here we went to hotel Christmas in Jerusalem where we were truly disappointed so don’t stay there if you are moving around Israel.

What a lovely hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, great location, accommodating staff and comfortable room with a million dollar (4 million in shekels) view of the Sea of Galilee! Every room has a balcony with a view. We spent four nights and hated to leave.

As a retired CEO of a hotel chain, I'm a critical guest when it comes to hotels, but here I was completely satisfied. Everything in our room worked, the beds were comfortable, the room was impeccably clean and there was even a comfortable chair... something most hotels don't have. I told the front desk manager how pleased I was and he said that the hotel is family owned and operated and they take great pride in their hotel. Well done!

We love the Ron Beach Hotel. It is a perfect place for families or for groups traveling in Israel. The view of the Sea of Galilee is just beautiful. To wake up looking at the Sea was a thrill for us. The rooms are very nicely appointed. The food was excellent and abundant with a great open dining area facing the Sea. I have led several groups to this hotel and everyone was very pleased. The staff work together like family and are quick to respond to any need in a friendly manner. We were especially blessed when one of our passengers became sick and the staff checked in on them during the day to be sure they were okay. The owner even provided transportation to obtain medication. We could not have had a better experience.

We have just returned from a Newmarket holiday from the UK where we stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights as part of the tour. The hotel itself is beautiful and located on the Sea of Galilee itself, with all rooms overlooking the sea. The lobby area and bar are stunning and the standard and cleanliness of the hotel is first rate. The quality and range of food on offer at both breakfast and dinner time was extraordinary. Very attentive and well-managed restaurant area. The hotel has a large pool which is open until late into the evening and a designated area of the Sea for guests to swim in. Location wise it is perfect for touring the Holy Lands and Jerusalem- highly recommend booking this hotel for your tour of Israel.

The Ron Beach Hotel is located directly on the Sea of Galilee. We had a room overlooking the pool and with a beautiful view of the sea. Our room was large with a sitting area facing the water and included a very small balcony (big enough for one person). The bathroom was also large with a walk-in shower and a retractable line for hanging swimsuits and other wet clothes to dry. Restaurant was buffet with a phenomenal choice of great-tasting food. Waitstaff was very attentive.

Is there a bar at this hotel, if so, are the prices reasonable?
Answer from Mark W

Hi Barbara, Yes there is a bar when they serve the coffee after dinner. It is a strange looking bar & has no atmosphere at all. So I never had a drink in there, those that do purchase a drink take it outside & sit looking at the views over the lake. I do not remember anyone making any comment regarding the prices.

There are coffee makers in the rooms. I'd bring your own tea. Their selection was very limited.

There buffet items were all labeled if they were gluten free. The staff was very knowledgeable when I ask specific questions about them.
