The photos are not real. When we booked, in the photos looked like they are having a real pool and it was a one made of plastic. The garden was looking very bad and also the house. See the photos.attached

We booked and prepaid for a room here 8 months in advance; checked 3 times prior to arrival that we were confirmed & yet were still bumped to another location for the 1st night because they "overbooked" (we question this as they were not completely honest in their excuse as to why we had a room and then 15minutes later we didn't). Very stressful trying to find the substitute accommodation - place was hard to find and person helping us did not give good directions. Building was in unsavory part of town with unlit parking lot across street. Door lock was broken, but was repaired (noticed afterward there was a door to outside balcony that could've easily been broken into anyway). Although the place was newly renovated, the place stunk of mold and had ants. Did not feel safe here, so did not sleep well. Needless to say check-in process was incredibly long and not a good experience. Next day we were not able to check into place we initially booked until after 4pm due to housekeeping. When we were finally able to check-in, wash water was dumped over entire front entry, so we had to carry everything through that mess - very unprofessional. Despite having to wait for housekeeping to clean, the place was dirty. The unit has a kitchenette but all of the cookware/dishes (no bowls), etc had to be re-washed-they were so filthy. No sharp knives, but had other utensils. Dead bugs on kitchen counter and any spice containers available were rusted closed. Overall cleanliness was terrible, grime and dust on furniture, floors were dirty.Table & chairs had to be washed before we could use. Bathroom has a shower, but no curtain or wall of any type. When you use the shower anything on the floor gets soaked and there is no where to put your toiletries or things when using the bathroom. Metal fixtures were rusty (which explained the rust on some of the towels) and in various stages of disrepair. Bedding was ripped in places, not all lights worked. Was supposed to have laundry machine & wifi we didn't have either. Were promised a refund for 1st night but didn't receive. Have traveled many places, in many countries and this was by far one of the worst experiences we've ever had booking a place online. We were very much looking forward to staying here in Tiberias, and this experience put a damper on our visit here. It's not a nice feeling to be in foreign country with accommodations that aren't good and nothing else available at the last minute. Would not stay here again.

Well, they rent out the ground floor of a building - the upper floor seems abandoned. This way you get some kind of a special experience. And for everything else, I would suggest that you just look at the photos and judge yourself....

To start with, hotels in Tiberias are EXTREMELY overpriced, especially for what you get... So this place came in at a relatively cheap price point, so this is taken into consideration in my review. This is not a luxury accommodation, it's quite basic, but it's nice and clean, and there are a few little extras to make your stay more pleasant: espresso coffee machines in the rooms with coffee capsules, tea, sugar, etc.; a fridge and flat screen TV (presumably with a cable or satellite connection, although we didn't try); internet (if you can get a reasonable signal, which is not the case everywhere on the premises); and one room even comes with a jacuzzi and small electric sauna (although we didn't try these either). The location is very good, just a few minutes from the coast and Tiberias promenade -- although I need to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed by what I found there... It's been many years since I've been to Tiberias, and I remember the promenade as a crowded place full of life, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and people out having a good time. What I found now was essentially a ghost town. I really don't know what happened to this city, but it definitely hasn't changed for the better... In any case, if you have to go to Tiberias, or for whatever reason decide to do so, the Bridge for Peace is a very reasonable option for accommodation during your stay.

The motel is very clean, with a nice comfy bed. Basic, but for the price and location it is an excellent place to stay. Very safe with a hot shower, what else do you need? Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
