Stayed 2 nites in May. Stay there if u don't mind cockroaches, dusty floor, toilet that does not flush, shabby furniture, noise from the street, grouchy front desk staff ... Breakfast was ok; manager was helpful.
Free parking, decent breakfast, clean shower.
Noisy on the side facing the road.
20-25 min walk to the centre or 5 min drive.
Good base to explore surroundings.
15 min drive to Arbel guest house - great food.

Our room was very spacious with a delightful balcony. Very clean with fresh towels, soap, shampoo daily. A large terrace enabled us to meet in the evenings and enjoy the great views. The management couldn't do enough for us from washing to information and booking taxis....More

I can't speak for the hotel, but I can tell you that the rooms in which my eight stayed were the biggest of any hotel I've stayed in Israel. I've probably stayed in at least 10 of the better known hotels in Israel, and the Berger had the biggest rooms by far. They were the equivalent of fairly large American hotels.
