Detailed Reviews
If you want to be on budget, this hotel could be for you, rooms are not big and soundproof. The room was clean except the refrigerator that had fungus. It was recently open so the water in pipes was dirty so then, to have clean warm water tooks us 35mins. The pool was clean and medium size. They close the pool at 6pm, but let friends of employees to swim while they took you out from it. The breakfast was not wow... they put lemon in scrambled eggs (I know that trick if yoy want ti preserve old food to next day) so I don't know if they were fresh. Very few options to choose for eat.

We went with a pilgrimage group and stayed 3 nights. It is a short walk from here down to the side of the lake and Tiberias is a good centre for getting around Galilee. The rooms are slightly dated and the internet connection in our room on the 3rd floor was iffy, though it was fine down in the bar and lobby.
There is a very wide range of food at both breakfast and dinner and the hotel staff were helpful, including make a room available for us to use for Communion as our group of 55 people.
We would very happily stay there again.

Choose a room on the front side of the hotel. The backside is very noisy from the homes in the rear. No AC in winter months . It was hot they offered a fan. It still was hot with windows open. Bring your earplugs if your a light sleeper like I am. Dining room had Breakfast buffet. Hotel had elevators.

We were on tour and Restal was our 2nd hotel after departing Tel Aviv. Experience: Atrocious, rooms were not clean and it seems that they did not expect 42 tourist or shall we say 25 rooms ready for occupancy. For two hours, they were moving our luggage to different rooms while we were waiting at floors, don't know what was the final solution.
The restaurant was buffet, the chef or whoever was at the door appears to be racist! He was insulting with other tourists who were darked skin. He was yelling at them as he directed them where to sit. In our case, he also acted as traffic which table should we sit since there are two groups that booked at their hotel. What's the difference? A customer should sit where he is comfortable for health reasons. That's freedom.

Most of the employees are attentive and kind.
Unfortunately the manager and supervisor of the restaurant (Kaled) has a extremely rude and disrespectful treatment towards all types of guests (whether they are older women or young men of any nation and religion). It is not understandable that he has a tourist service position and can be so disrespectful and rude to them.
I witnessed how he yelled and treated women who did not understand his language badly and with people in my group he had the same attitude. No matter the day or the hour, every time I came across him, he had the same attitude of disregard for others and discomfort in serving others. I don't want to imagine the way he would treat other employees.
It is never to return or recommend this hotel.

First impressions from the Reception area do not prepare you for the basic rooms. The floor was dirty in both the room and the ensuite. Pillows were probably the lumpiest I have ever had. The towels were thin. We were on a high floor overlooking the bus station. As the double glazing was ineffective, there was traffic noise including reversing beeping from the buses. The buffet was good. The hotel appears to cater primarily for coach tours saying for a few nights.

I stayed only one night at this hotel, as a stop on a 7-night pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan. I would not have lasted more than one night! I didn't like anything - neither the food, nor the cleanliness of the rooms, nor the staff. I do not recommend it!

Hotel is mainly for the group tourists! It is so dated! Bathroom is in a very bad condition! When many people take showers at the same time, it runs cold water! Room is basically cold too!
Terrible experience! No more stay!

For us being right next to the Central Bus Depot was a nice convenience. It is an older hotel that recently had a ton of money poured into it and looks great, with marble everywhere. I would definitely stay here again as it's a very quick walk to the lake and 'Old Tiberias'. One thing to note that the pipes moaned loudly as old pipes are want to do whenever someone used water at night. While we figured this out quickly many did not as the continued to flush or run water throughout the night. Fortunately my wife who is a very light sleeper was exhausted and it didn't wake her too much.
Outdoor pool was closed while there, but looked nice. Excellent breakfast spread for a value hotel.

We stayed at the Restal Hotel for 3 nights and really liked it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds comfortable, and the staff helpful with a good understanding of English. The food was also plentiful, with a wide selection at breakfast and in the evening and all very tasty.

If you are using American type appliances you will need a 2 prong adapter (round prongs). We purchased ours at Target. Ours has a plug for iPhone charging also. It worked great.
