The sales woman telled that this hotel is 3 star but it I think that jail are more confortable. Very dirty, should be immediately closed by the health services. a cockroach was walking in the breakfast room and on attairissait holidaymakers. The service is very bad. I was given the keys to visit one of the rooms and when I open the door, I realize that these rooms are occupied. You can see my photos to have an idea of that place

Clearly the worst place that I have ever stayed at. Notice that I cannot call it a hotel. I can't tell you much about the food as there wasn't much food here but what I can tell you is that I am surprised this place is still open as it should be closed down by the government. The bathroom was atrocious the lobby is your only hope here, even that needs refurbishing. Hey, "there is cement on the blanket and hair in my food, guys we need to get out of here fast!"

this should be on a list of dog housesl The staff does not care at all about the guests. no one takes responsibility. there is not enough food. Passover there was the most frightening one of our lives. There are law suits being prepared by people who were there. I tell everyone I know not to go there, no matter what other options you have- take it. The staff lie. the chef quit the first day as everyone sent every kind of complaint to him. air conditioning does not work right. no matter how many times they tried to fix it. No matter what deal they offer you, even free, it is not worth it

this is by far the worst hotel I have ever been at in my life. I was there for passover 2014. frig in room had maggots. they kept running out of food. what they put out was paltry, and you had to fight to get what to eat. no one took responsibility. Moshe Koritz was the manager- but he denied it. he kept shifitng blame to the pastry chef, who was volunteering- and he left after 2 days. There were fights over seating at every meal. some people left after the first nite of Passover. several people are planning on suing them. This place had some renovation, but has a long way to go- but the miserable service and insufficient food was so bad that my wife said she willmake Passover at home before she wuld go back here.

We had stayed at the Palterin two years ago as a cheap, kosher option for Shabbat while camping up north and had enjoyed the food and service although the place was run down. Therefore we were pleasantly surprised to see the major refurbishments undertaken since our last visit. An airy reception area greeted us with refurbished rooms which included new bathrooms and a refrigerator. There were complimentary refreshments available around the clock and the Manager (who is a wonderful person in his own right and made every guest feel special) even brought out borekas and cake on Friday lunchtime as people were arriving. There was cheesecake and chocolate cake on Shabbat morning. The meals were delicious, plentiful and served nicely by lovely waiters who come just for Shabbat. The price was outstandingly good especially considering we were there during summer vacation - 7 adults in 3 rooms for 2 nights, including all Shabbat meals and Sunday breakfast for 4000 shekels is unbeatable. If you are looking for a basic hotel (no pool, tv or wifi), but with a homely atmosphere and excellent service for your base up north or a family Shabbat, Palterin is the perfect choice.

I've stayed here numerous times with friends. We basically got the rooms for next to nothing which is why we were willing to settle with this place. It's old and worn and needs many repairs. It's pretty clean though and the food is great! We were looking for a place that had top notch kosher certification and this place does (at least it did when I stayed there. ) It's like a motel 6. But with awesome views of the Kineret. There is no pool or workout room. Just a place to rest your head and eat a good meal. The girl working behind the counter, Pazit, was super helpful and friendly!
