Very low end hotel. Employees pretended to understand English, but couldn’t get anything right. Balcony with view of trash awful. Did not replace towels, did not supply bathrobe, no wash clothes, bathroom sink broken, safe broken, shower slippery and no mat, male staff walked in on us twice without even knocking, line of 20 people deep for 2 small elevators, forgot to take picture. Dining was ok, nothing special.
My room was a good size but had no bath. There was tea/coffee/safe and fridge in the room. The bed itself was comfy but the pillows were very high. There were only two small lifts. The hot springs are not at the hotel. You need to cross over the road and walk along a bit. My room was at the front which was very noisy with traffic but overlooked the sea. There are no nearby shops or restaurants.
Rooms fair size but bathrooms needed good clean. The black tile decor initially camouflaged that. However, overall the rooms were clean and well appointed. Beds comfy. Single balcony but balcony door didn't have a key however a room safe was adequate. Lifts a bit of an issue over Shabbat so got some exercise going up and down stairs. Food was really really good though. Huge variety and excellent quality. Very happy with this hotel overall
We spent three nights in this hotel, it was unclean, service was unfriendly, the beds seemed like the sheets went unchanged, there were strands of hair in our bed, the rooms were dark, the elevator doors seemed like they wanted to slice you in half, the hall carpets looked like they were so tired, only positive thing in this hotel--the food was ok and there was a guy playing some musical instruments at night, also the air conditioning was working during November
We recently stayed here as part of a group tour of Israel. This wasn't a choice of ours and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Looks like a great setting on the Sea of Galilee but when you look out of your one person balcony on to the rubbish below, it's not that fantastic!! The rooms were quite large, that's the only good thing about them. The rooms were dirty, shabby and old. The bathroom is an accident waiting to happen, its an open shower which sends most of the water into the bathroom itself so you need to put down your towel to soak up the water and to enable you to later go to the toilet. Going to the toilet was like an episode of Crystal Maze, you had to open the door which then rested on the sink, step into the wet shower and close the door, then move on to the toilet, clearly a terrible design fault. The restaurant was like a feeding frenzy after a week fasting. There were so many dirty plates left on tables it was hard to find somewhere to sit.…
The room was clean, beds are comfortable. The hotel staff are kind and generous. Juggling activity was fun, my kids enjoyed it. Elevators are a problem, especially on Shabbat. Most times we had to take the stairs 4 floors up and down..
In September 2022, we stayed at the Lake House Hotel. The hotel has all kinds of facilities for a perfect vacation for the whole family. In addition, you can use the hot springs of Tiberias, which entrance is free of charge. We stayed at the hotel on a half-board basis, the food is delicious for all tastes, the staff is excellent. We were treated very well. Recommend With all my heart💝💝💝
very disappointing. everything is very dirty, jerk staff, no one spoke english. we couldn't wait for this 2-night rest to end. I don't recommend it to anyone!! the gym would have been somewhere in the city, not in the hotel, but the reception couldn't tell me where the gym was...
From the moment we arrived to the property I knew I made a mistake booking at this hotel. This is maybe a 2 star hotel parading as 4 star hotel. Parking was free but the sand lots were packed to the point that it took us 35min to find a spot to park. Than we headed towards the hotel entry where we had to ask the bellman to help us with our bags. He left us at the lobby and told us he had to go because it was time for his break. Check in was terrible as well and than we had to push our own carts to the room as the bellmen were no where to be found. We asked for help booking day excursions just to be told they don’t do that and it was our own responsibility to find and book our own activities which proved to be difficult. I booked 2 suites expecting a beautiful room only to also get disappointed even more. The suites are run down, furniture torn, scratched, broken. The room was filthy and Feces in the toilet. The bathroom is tiny, mildew everywhere and a stench of sewage even in the hallways. Unkempt grounds with litter everywhere. Cleanliness is non existent. Dirty windows, cigarette buts all over the grounds and balconies, dust on furniture. No coffee machines, no outdoor bar, and the food is tasteless and cold. All in all, an overpriced nightmare of a weekend.…
We arrived on a Friday and ordered 2 suits, sorry to say non of them looked like suits but a room with a corner... The sofa beds were filled with stains of unknown substance, we had to ask for sheets since there were none when we arrived ... A bit disappointing.
