I was expecting a nice one night stay as part of my vacation. I was surprised to find the room to be disgusting. The door was open when i got there. The room smelled like bug spray, the floor was sticky, the glasses were filthy, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the bedsheets. I actually was thinking of sleeping in my car. Also, the carpets in the hallway are dirty. I do not recommend this place.

Not very accessible for folks with problem in taking stairs as elevators are different for odd and even floored rooms with necessity of taking steps from reception for one of the elevators. Similarly- restaurant is at lower level. AC controls did not work- so we had to open the windows to make the temperature comfortable. Rooms look tired. As a Shabbath compliant hotel- no creamer in rooms. We were with a travel group which included dinner and breakfast. No hot vegetarian options were available in-spite of informing in advance.

Dear Travelking123, Thank you so much for sharing with us your experience at Prima galil Hotel. Regarding the hotel structure , indeed, no elevator reach the dining room floor, there are 8-9 steps in order to reach the restaurant level. Also, our hotel use a central cooling /heating system, the guests can not change from heating to cooling, but they can set the temperature they want in the room on the thermostat. Our guests can always ask for help and one of our employees will be more than to assist his. The creamer in the room has nothing to do with Sabbath, there is a guest service center, as well as the reception that can be used for any request. We are not a vegetarian hotel but there are always items on the buffet for guests that prefer vegetarian food . Carpets dirty and worn. Elevator system needs overhaul as not customer friendly. furniture throughout hotel including lobby and rooms both renovated and not renovated are outdated, upholstery dirty and need to be replaced; majority of staff unfriendly, rooms on lower floors smell dank; bugs in lobby and most likely through out the hotel, definitely NOT a superior hotel; a 2 - 2+ at best. Not all staff speak Englisg. Do yourself a favor and give it a miss

After you claimed that there were bugs all over your room and lobby of the hotel , the sanitation company was called for an inspection and no trace of bugs were found. The hotel is old , the roots are wiem out. The stad is very unfriendly at least one girl , No smile at all. Like she was there for the punishment. No heating options for two nights altough it was very cold and rainy outside. No hair dryer. Unless you stand next to the window , you will get cold wind from the draughty window. Food at the restaurant was cold even shortly after opening . Highly not recommend

We stayed at Prima Galil hotel for 2 nights during our winter break. The hotel was clean, easy to find, good breakfast but not substantial as in our Jerusalem hotel, and check-in was a breeze. We were able to catch the bus for Tel Aviv from a bus stop close to the hotel. The only down side for us was a long steep walk from the bus station. But this is on us. I highly recommend taking a taxi from the bus station to the hotel. Vice versa is not that bad as you are going downhill.

I wrote this review regarding the Prima Galil and can only repeat and expand on the comments to say that my most recent visit on Oct 12 - 16 surpassed even the comments in every sphere of "hospitality at its best" - do yourself a favor for any occasion and experience these comments yourself "If you want a "home away from home" to celebrate special occasions - Prima Galil is the address- you will have a magical experience with professional and friendly staff at your service and lovely accommodations and delicious cuisine. This is a first class hotel and has a feeling of warmth and all the amenities of home hospitality at its best. I have been celebrating my special occasion for years at the "northern home" and it is now on speed dial for future years! The view of the Kinneret is a plus also"…

Very nice hotel...nice staff. The breakfast is good basic but tasty. The room was big,clean . The bed not comfortable. The parking is a bit problematic. No private parking. But over all a very nice weekend we enjoyed

We choose Hotel Prima Galil as our “base” for a 3 day family trip in the area. The room was clean and tastful designed. From our large balcony we had a stunning view over the city. The staff was very friendly and heplfull. The tasty breakfast was served according the Corona restrictions. Big thumbs up for the entire staff, as it is propably not easy to run a hotel operation in these “challenging” times.
