I am Mr. Jalal Masa’deh from Jordan. I visited Tiberias and booked a hotel, as it was one of the most beautiful areas that I visited. I visited many countries, but I felt happy with the good reception in Tiberias and the wonderful atmosphere. The hotel services were more than wonderful and everything was wonderful. I did not expect these services from the hotel at all. The rooms, the pool, the wonderful view, and the food are wonderful. Thank you for everything , special thanks for Mr munther

We have been going to the Club Hotel for 38 years! The hotel is clean, especially the pool area. Some of the rooms have been completely renovated. We were in a room that was partially renovated. It still needed plenty of work. Many of the rooms need a lot of work. Parking is a nightmare. With regards to the staff: Mundar, the Deputy Manager (he should be the manager): He is knowledgeable, helpful, and always available when needed. Excellent. He is a credit to the Club Hotel. Meir the Security Guard: Willing to help in every way. Fadiya, the room cleaner: Works well, very nice and helpful.

(+) The general appearance of the lobby, dining zone and room were clean and comfortable... Friendly and helpful staff... Our stay included only breakfast and they made changes a couple of times during this week we were there. Everything was good and tasty with proper variety of meal. I liked their coffee(and this is not a regular thing)... They have here a synagogue and a children zone. And a swimming pool(didn't swim because of the cold water, but some others did). ... (-) Lack of a trash can cover in the toilet(either bad smell or throw paper down the toilet which is bad for the sewer)... Lack of a microwave in the dining room(there is no way to heat anything from the cooling food, and it's rare for such a large hotel)... When I told to the person responsible for the meal zone during breakfast time, that the table at which we sat wobbles, we received in response "everything is okay"... The bar area was very weak(this is due to preparations for the new "holiday season", so there is a reason, but even so, if the hotel receives guests, leaving the bar so empty is bad)... The general appearance of the hotel is a bit old and shabby. Of all the food, I didn’t like some dumplings(they were very crumbly and watery).

Despite the negative reviews we had a decent stay at this hotel. The location is right at the edge of the Galilee with free outdoor parking. The room was spacious with big windows overlooking the Galilee, it was clean and had decent furniture. The bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower. The included breakfast was varied and plentiful. The kosher Shabbat dinner was well worth it. There is also a synagogue on premises. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable hotel in the area.

Well let's start with the positive. The location overlooking The Sea of Galilee is spectacular! It's built into the hillside with fantastic views of The Sea and The Golan Heights from the balcony in each room. Now for the rest. At first glance the lobby looks pretty good, partially recently remodeled. Only thing, they didn't finish and part of the ceiling is old, with dilapidated, water stained, ill fitting ceiling tiles. I mean they didn't even bother to fit the tiles back into the rails. The lobby windows are discolored and appear to be delaminating. The furniture is new, but is so cheep and absolutely filthy with lots of stains. The elevator is rattily, wobbling on worn tracks and the doors stick and slam open and closed. The the hallways! I've never seen anything like it! Filthy! There are crumbs, peeling paint chips and dust sheets like you find under your fridge when you move it after 5 years. Right there in the corridor! The walls and ceilings are water stained and are actually shedding paint flakes. They have so many poorly finished patches and water stains everywhere, they look terrible. The room is a mishmash of old cheep furniture and mismatched, falling off trim, with more terrible workmanship. It looks rather like a squatter's room furnished with stuff picked up on the street. The room however was reasonably clean with a newly remodeled bathroom and new surround for the TV. The mattress was 2 singles on a double base. They were only a few inches thick and no padding, you could feel the springs. The door to the balcony wouldn't stay closed, had no door lock only a small chain connected to the wall. Looking out the lobby windows you can see the cracked, moldy, rust stained concrete that has pieces falling off. Seeing that and the obvious lack of maintenance of the building, all I could think of was Champlain Towers. I would never stay here again and if it's your last resort, sleep in the car instead.

I arrived in the evening with the group of pilgrims and had a particularly unpleasant surprise. The rooms I had had old furniture and a bad smell. This spoiled our whole stay. We asked to change our rooms, but the people at the reception didn't want to, even though the hotel was almost empty, our group being almost the only guests. So, I may say the service was bad and I did not like the rooms. The walls had traces of infiltration as from floods. There were stains from painting. The rooms were windowless, dark, claustrophobic. The location is on the shore of the lake of Galilee. No open shops around. The food at breakfast and dinner was good. But the first impression, the bad one, mattered.

Stood in a queue to check in for over an hour and a half. None of the staff cared. The head of customer relations did nothing to help his staff or the hotel guests who were standing in the heat, we saw him actually leave the hotel! Parking is a 7 min walk from the hotel up a hill. Paid extra for a refurbished room that needed renovating. Reserved rooms that were supposed to be next to our friends but this was ignored and they were on different floors. Corridors smelly. Pool was nice. Breakfast was nice and the staff there were helpful. Went out for the evening, came back our key didn’t work. Reception told us room wasn’t in our name and had to wait for them to sort it out. Room had a lovely view.

After a long period when the hotel was closed during Covid, we were happy to return. We received a very nice room and we were very satisfied. Haja cleaned the room very well. The swimming pool and surrounding area was well kept and regularly cleaned. Mundar, the Night Manager is a credit to the Club Hotel. He is helpful, polite and attentive. Mundar is always available when required and this is very important. One important issue. I, as a woman, found it difficult without a mirror in the room
