My spouse and I are doing an EO tour of Israel and Jordan. When we arrived at the Royal, we were so impressed! Great view of the Sea of Galilee, in room hot tub, tasty fruit tray. The view off of the lounge is amazing. But, there were a few issues. We’re in room 910, and there is a distinct sewer smell in the room. The fitness room and pool are closed, and the staff seemed annoyed to even be asked about it. The in room tub would have taken a half day to fill to a useable level The meals were good, and it’s not the worst place I’ve stayed. It just had so much promise initially! I truly hope they can pull it together.
We stayed at Royal Plaza for 2 nights. The hotel is quite big and the service is good. There is nothing fancy but needs the need of most people. The buffet breakfast and dinner are the best part of the hotel. There are lots of choices of cold and hot food.
My family and I stayed at the Royal Plaza Tiberias on 28 February to 1 March 2023. The hospitality of this hotel is very good, especially the manager who is still young and welcomes us. this is one of the hotels that I recommend when staying in Tiberias. staff service is very satisfying. lots of food choices. spacious room. responsive porter. although the water in the bathroom is always stagnant and needs repair, overall the hotel is good. the location is a bit far from downtown but the rooms are comfortable. the dining area is a bit cramped for groups. clean rooms and floors. guests with wheelchairs are not a problem. my family and I have stayed at this hotel several times and their standards regarding quality have not changed. it's just that the souvenir shop in the lobby is rarely opened. there is a small bar in the lobby with ample selection of drinks. i am happy to stay in this hotel.…
Thankyou all for making our trip amazing and outstanding we all love the hotel and location of the hotel Special thanks to Aman and poonam at reception very helpful experience all over amazing here. We willl come back again
I stayed here for 2 nights with my tour group with the half-board service. I enjoyed the room very much as it was large, the elevators were plenteous and worked well, it had its own temperature control, many towels, a lovely shower, and a lot of light! It was clean as well. The front desk did fail me on wake-up call requests. I usually ask for one to back up my own alarm. The breakfast and dinners were ok, but not great. The staff seemed to be in short supply during busy times. The food could be seen transitioned from day-to-day. It is a fine value, however, and I would choose it again. Don't hesitate to choose to stay here.
The hotel is very nice with a great view of the Sea of Galilee, and feels welcoming. The room was very big. Very appealing and comfortable. Food in restaurant was excellent. Lots of variety on the Buffet and tasty choices.
As we checked in, there were at least two busloads of very loud, boisterous and unruly teenagers who proved to help make the stay there a bad experience. The lines for the buffet were so long that you had to wait a long time to get food. There was noise, loud talking, laughing, etc, outside our door very late. A request for a room with a view was initially granted and then we were told that they were sold out. Altogether a not very pleasant stay.
Location up on a hill while the parking is down below. U need to climb every time. Staff terrible, An alarm in the middle of the night and no answer from the reception or anyone from the hotel. Expensive and not worth the price. The meals not that good and u should stay away from lunch.
The main reason of choosing this hotel was the pool. We came with our little son and wanted him to enjoy there. We arrived to the hotel at 3 pm, went down to the pool area at 3:45 and lifeguard informed us that it's closing at 4 pm. Thanks a lot for letting us enjoy these 15 minutes. Next day we asked the man on reception about pool timing and he literally said : " I don't know". Then we found out it opens at 12pm. We didn't catch it since it was the time of check out. I've been in many hotels and first time l see such ridiculous pool timing. Also room floors were very dirty. We were not able to put our son to crawl there. We've complained on reception upon check-out. The guy there asked my husband's phone number so the manager could call him. But we never received any call. …
Situated at the southern edge of the commercialized section, this is a perfect perspective for photography of the sunrise over the Golan mountains and the Sea of Galilee. Ample parking for cars and tour buses. Ample-sized dining room can accommodate small and large groups.
