Motel 6. No frills. Nothing fancy. But it's clean, it's comfortable, the television is fine. The worst thing I can say is the weekend night desk clerk apparently doesn't know how to pronounce my (very common) first name. I wish that was the worst thing I could say about some other places I've been. This hotel is fine.

Was looking for a place to stay on the way to Boston and stayed here after reading a review on this form. Like the previous review said, it was simple but good enough for the price. No frills but the kind of place you don't mind staying in when you're on the road. About 60 bucks for the night for the double room.

Receptionist was welcoming and efficient., Room was ample for two queen size beds and clean. Amenities were limited, but that is appropriate for budget hotels. Bed was comfortable; shower was adequate. Location is convenient to interstate and short drive restaurants. First impressions are important, overflowing trash barrels and ashtrays by the front entrance thus trash throughout parking area, was not reassuring. Laundromat is located in the facility

Avoid this hotel at all cost. Booked through Expedia and paid $120, this hotel isn’t even worth $12 a night. My husband and I were travelling for hours and just needed a spot to rest before our next day drive. Upon check in they tried to make me pay for the rooom that was already pre-paid. I booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room we were bombarded with the worst smoke smell. Honestly smells like someone smoked cartons in there hours before we checked in. Our door didn’t lock properly and there was screaming/partying on the floor till 4am. The bathroom was beyond disgusting with hair/pubic hair all over the floor. Our sheets and towels were dirty/stained. The only positive is that we didn’t travel with our daughter this time, I couldn’t imagine having a child at this hotel. Book anywhere else!! Would have rather slept in the car

Unfortunately I had the bad luck of being a guest in this place. I could write a book on how disgusting this place is but I will write a short review because this place does not deserve too many words. 1) staff is rude. They clearly have no intention to work there, which I mean everyone hates their jobs, but at least you could avoid talking bad about your guests in front of their face. This alone deserves a 0. 2) Rooms are extremely dirty. The bathroom was full of hair and pubic hair (clearly not mine). Insects and spiders are in their natural habitat in that bathroom. 3) Not safe at all. Even the other guests staying there make you feel uncomfortable. Loud music and tv all day and night. Clearly not a place where you can rest. 4) There was smell of vomit and god knows what for a full 2 days, hallways stink and the cleanliness of the entire place deserves a 0.

My husband and I checked at Motel 6 on 100 Watervliet Avenue in Albany New York Saturday morning, we paid for two nights of service. Sunday morning we were waking up and told we only paid for one night I went downstairs to speak to management immediately he accused me of trying to scam the hotel I was accused of being a crackhead or a dope Feen I was accused of being a troublemaker and I was kicked out of their hotel. Apparently the locations manager thinks that all black people are crackhead troublemaking dope fiends and does not deserve to be on his property. He was very Unapologetic and very unprofessional. We would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is a poor example of the motel 6 chain. One room smelled like someone smoked a ton of weed, and when complained to manager he wasn’t too sure he could move us. He did and that room didn’t seem bad at first then we noticed the blood stains on floor and half broken in door plus wiring. The other room had a half broken ax unit that while it did kind of work was noisy. 6 of us all together and they gave us 3 towels we had to ask for more. I wrote to the hotel chain and while the main office did contact saying someone would be in touch, a month later had to recontact them to see if they had fixed problems. They apologized and said partial refund coming to us. That was 14 days ago and still nothing sad. Funny thing is all the “great reviews” for this place.

Our room had no hot water in the sink, no remote and after getting two remotes from the desk, we still could not get the TV to work, no plunger in the sink, and when we wiped up some water we spilled on the floor, the towel was filthy with dirt. When we arrived there were several drunk men in front of the hotel tipping over the potted plants.
Good point: they allow dogs.

Our room was absolutely horrendous. Peeling paint Around door frame. Door handle on the bathroom broken off so the bathroom door couldn’t close. Room smelled like rotting garbage. When we complained the desk attendant yelled at me saying there was nothing he could do. After much back and forth we got a new room. This room was SLIGHTLY cleaner but still something I would consider uninhabitable. The TV in this room didn’t work. Both beds were sloppily made and didn’t even have a fitted sheet, but a blanket tucked in to the sides. -20/10

Traveling as a single female this place did not feel safe. Clearly drug deals going on in the parking lot. People appear to live there. I believe I was truly the only guest. The entire property is in disrepair. The reviews on the Motel 6 website for this location are clearly false.
