Excellent, clean, quiet, and new appearing Homewood Suites. Staff (particularly the woman staffing breakfast) was friendly and helpful. I wasn’t able to check in via the app and had some issues with the digital key, but otherwise it was a smooth stay. They had non-dairy milk options at breakfast (soy and almond) which was so appreciated! The fitness room was nice with 2 Peloton bikes but neither was working well—one wasn’t appropriately activated so it could only be used for test rides (can’t log in) and the other seemed not to be connected to the internet so couldn’t be used. We had a lovely stay along the highway and would stay here again as our travel demands! We didn’t get to use the basketball court but it also was a nice touch.

I couldn't get home fast enough to leave a 5 star review for this accomidation. I was blown away at the amount of amenities I got here. Check in was ok..no one was immediately present at the desk but not a long wait. I requested the top floor as I always do but had to settle for the 2nd as they were completely booked and I arrived at 6pm. Upon check in I was informed dinner was being served as well as complimentary adult beverages... Brought stuff up to the room, halls were spotless and well appointed. Room was spacious clean and fully equipped. Full kitchen. Even with a dishwasher. Decides to try dinner even though there is a restaurant mecca down the road. Had pot toast with mahsed potatoes and brocolli. I'm no anthony bourdaine but I have a pretty refined, picky, bougie palat and this food blew me away. Hot, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Paired with a cold tap poured modelo..ans the. Red wine and I was quite settled in. After dinner went for a swim. Pool was clean and in working order. Once done requested the fire pit outside be out in and it was within minutes. Sat in an Adirondack chair by the fire until bedtime. Outdoor space/courtyard was well appointed with manicured grass, nice lighting and seating areas. Bed was comfy, pillows plush and ceiling fan was perfect. You could hear a pin drop during the jight even though every room was booked. Woke up to a full breakfast with the best blueberries I've had so far this year. Starbucks coffee. Cucumber mint infused water and fresh poured waffles. Even espresso chocolate bard at the front desk. While I think the price I paid was a touch high for the location, the size of the unit, the comfort and flow of my stay and the fine tuned amenities that were offered made it WELL worth the rate. Very much look forward to an excuse to stay here again. Fantastic job guys!

Kudos to this Homewood Suites. Personnel were all extremely pleasant and helpful - all deserving a "catch me" fish (!) if all of their names were remembered. Upon entering, there is a feeling of cleanliness. Our room was spacious with plenty of fluffy towels. The kitchen area is well stocked - all it needed was a roll of paper towels or sponge for guests to tidy up. Breakfast was good with a variety of offerings to choose from - meats, eggs, breads, fruit, waffles - and the area was set up so crowds did not build up around certain selections. Items were replenished in a timely fashion. The Wednesday evening reception was surprisingly good with many choices to satisfy the most hungry guest.

This was year 24 of my friend and I meeting for a night of fun in the Albany area. It was our first visit to this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located on Wolf Road with free parking. In the evenings, the traffic is VERY fast on Wolf Road (like racing fast), and there is airplane noise from the planes taking off early mornings. Despite those 2 things, we really loved our 1 night stay. We were in Room 410. We had a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher. The room was large-with many options for seating. The bathroom sink is out in the open, shower and toilet behind closed doors. The sink seemed low-but I believe we had a handicapped room. Everything was very clean! Breakfast was great! In addition to the normal fare (waffles are found out in the seating area) there are tortillas with many options for southwest breakfast wraps. The woman checking me in was not friendly or helpful (basically handed me the keys), but all other staff we encountered were fantastic! The elevator was a little weird to find...so some direction would have been a bit helpful. The pool and hot tub were great-as a matter of fact, the pool was a really comfortable temperature, not cold like most hotel pools! There is a fire pit outside, with a lot of seating around it. We would stay here again!

What a great place to stay! The beds are among the best we've ever slept in, and that includes the sheets and the pillows. There were 3 desks / tables in our room, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The breakfast is beyond compare. All the food is fresh and nicely prepared. There's a large space devoted to tables and chairs, so you aren't elbow to elbow with others. And the COFFEE! It's the best we've ever had at any hotel anywhere. The staff are all uniformly friendly. One more thing: there are EV car chargers on site, too! This place has everything.

I have stayed here before and it’s only because my company sets up its meetings here. The room itself was fine, but air conditioning didn’t appear to change when I upped the temp. It was cold and noisy.
When I tried to take a shower Monday the water was scalding and if I tried to adjust down no water came out of the shower other than a trickle. I told the front desk and they had it checked, but nothing changed and it was still too hot to stand under in the shower. In the evening when I tried it, it was barely lukewarm.
I asked for my room to be cleaned on Tuesday and Thursday whenI checked in. No one showed up to clean the room on Tuesday and I had to have towels, Kleenex and toilet tissue delivered. I asked for housekeeping on Wednesday and they showed up after I reminded the front desk again. They changed sheets and left towels, but to say they cleaned anything would be untrue. They came again on Thursday and the same thing.
There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher from a previous guest and no dishwasher detergent was left after I turned the machine on for those dirty dishes.
Breakfast in the morning was hit or miss. Most mornings the meat offerings were either overcooked or burned. However the food for the evening social on Wednesday was surprisingly good.
I used electronic checkout and luckily stopped by the front desk to get a hard copy before I left. I still haven’t gotten the email copy I was supposed to receive and I checked out yesterday morning.
The company I work for is a regular customer of this hotel for it’s classes and the conference room was fine, but for the price of the room and the poor quality of accommodations they may need to shop around.

Frequent travelers, this was our first stay at a Homewood Suites and it could not have been better.
A mid-week getaway to Albany was perfect to get rid of the Covid blues and start dining, sightseeing, and shopping again. For us, Albany was an easy drive on I-90 and centrally located for a number of day trips along the Hudson River and Berkshires. The hotel, itself, is nicely situated on a busy strip of retail establishments and restaurants. There's no lack of dining or shopping options in the area. It is also very close to Albany International Airport and a good option for those flying in an out of the capital city.
Our room was very large (compared to so many other hotels we have stayed in) and featured: a large bedroom with a king bed; a nice size sitting area with a tv, pull out sofa, wing chair, and ottoman; and a small kitchenette complete with a small table and set of chairs, microwave, 2 burner stove top, dishwasher, full refrigerator, and all the dishware, cookware, and silverware. This unit could easily be a very comfortable apartment.
Although there were some signs of wear on some of the furnishings and bathroom fixtures, everything was well maintained and very clean. Covid cleaning protocols were highlighted and we felt very confident that our stay would be safe. The bed and, in particular the pillows, were comfortable and every night was a great sleep.
The staff here is exceptional. We had the chance to interact with the front desk, dining room attendants, housekeepers, and maintenance personnel. Each and every person was friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic about having us as guests. I truly felt that each staff member valued our patronage.
An unexpected surprise was the complimentary meals served at this location. We were aware of the breakfast (that's available 7 days a week) and it was very good. Freshly cooked eggs (scrambled one day, over easy the next), bacon and sausage, fresh fruit, hot oatmeal with an assortment of toppings; freshly baked muffins; and a variety of bagels, breads, and yogurts. You will not leave breakfast hungry. We were surprised, though, that this location served a complimentary light meal on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. The first night we enjoyed a small salad bar, manicotti, sausage, soup, breadsticks, and beer and wine. The second night featured the salad bar, baked cod, rice pilaf, asparagus, and beer and wine. And - it was very good. Seriously, the food was really good.
There are so many aspects to this hotel that we didn't get to enjoy (e.g. outdoor firepits, indoor pool, hot tub, basketball court) that I cannot wait to return to the Albany area.

This is an awesome hotel in a very convenient location. Close to the airport and many local restaurants. It is very clean and well maintained. The included breakfast buffet was well stocked and refreshed regularly. Our suite had a mini kitchen compete with silverware and dishes for four. Also very clean and furnished with table, seating, a pullout sofa and comfortable bedding. Highly recommended!

Staying long term at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Albany, NY and all staff is always attentive and helpful. Breakfast and dinner is always appetizing and fresh. Taylor is experienced and creative with the dishes and Lily readily available to assist with friendly and smiling eyes (darn masks). Reception responds promptly to calls for service. Carmen always provides detailed attention to the room leaving it a welcoming, crisp and comfortable place to get ready in the morning and relax after work. A big thank you to all who make staying here feel like home. There are 4 or five steakhouses within walking distance; a big plus for me. The mall, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble and a gas station are close. Located extremely close to I87 exit 4, it has quick access to the highway and a very short drive to the Albany Airport. Convenience and comfort couldn't be better.
