The Building is modern, minimal but fashion. There is a very nice common living room where we can play arrows, twist and other games to share with friends. There is also a free water dispenser always available. There 4-people room is pretty and well furnished, the bed is really comfortable! The staffs is always helpful and kind. I recommend it to all. Enjoy!

Good place, we enjoy the nights at Canvas. Good and comfortable room, also with the service of changing towels for free on request. Also the staff is so friendly and helpful. Free water and a kitchen for dinners and a beatiful bar that makes really tasty food.

The location was located close to Haeundae Beach. The subway was 10 minutes walk from the property. The staff was very kind and spoke very well English ! The room was spacious and clean. the only thing I did not like was that the light in the room was very dim , further everything was perfect and I had a great stay !

Positive : 1. Room is spacious. 2. Toilet room and bathroom are clean. 3. There is a vanity mirror for the 4 bed - dorm. 4. Room is cheap. Negative : 1. No bath towels! They provided 2 HANDTOWELS. Omgee!!! 2. The location is not in Busan center. 45 minutes to get to Busan University. Except for the beach as this is near to the beach. 3. No wifi access in our room! 4. Bad service from the Staff. I was there at 1PM but there were no receptionist. When she finally came in, I approached her and tell her that I have reservation. She said , " can you comeback after 10 minutes because my break is not yet finish." Really bad service. Then I sat on the lounge and just talk on the phone . She went out again and cameback. She then told me while I was on the phone with someone "can you go to the reception now and check in?" Then I thought, maybe she will check me in.. She processed my payment and ask for my passport but didn't let me in. I was like. What the?? She didn't bother to look at my face or say anything to me after she gave me my card. Tsk tsk! Then 2 more staff came in, they didn't know that my payment was process already, the girl who process my payment didn't told them. They keep me waiting until past 3pm! When I finally checkin, the room was in fact ready, and I am the only person who will use that room. Normally, with other hostel, they will allow you to do early checkin specially if the room is already available. That girl kept me waitng from 1PM - 3PM.. goodness! she didn't even bother to tell me if it's ok to just leave my luggage. When it's time for me to check out, I told her, I am checking out, (same girl). Again, didn't even bother to look at me , she just point out the box where I need to drop my room card.

We stayed in a Deluxe triple with a private bathroom. I will begin with the positive aspects: 1. Good location, very close to the subway and very close to the beach and centre pedestrian street of Haundae 2. The room and bathroom was spacious 3. The room was inexpensive The negative aspects: 1. When we booked the information about the hotel on TripAdvisor said it included a complementary breakfast, the signboard at the front of the hotel said the breakfast was complementary but at the hotel we were told we had to pay for breakfast 2. They provided 2 towels per person but the towels they provided were tiny hand towels. I thought there must have been a mistake so I asked at reception and they confirmed they only provide tiny towels 3. The hand wash provided (no soap just hand and body wash) was watered down 4. The rooms were not clean, heaps of dust but what was worse was the dead/squashed mosquitos stuck to the walls and blood spots where mosquitos were squashed 5. The rooms were dark, with the blinds open and all the lights and lamps on we still had to use head lamps to read a book. The only bright light was the sensor light in the hall way which turned on whenever you went to the toilet in the middle of the night. 6. WiFI is only on the first floor (according to the signage we did not use it because we did not hang out there) 7. There is one nice girl working at reception (she checked us in) but the girl there in the morning had a lot to learn about customer service. They have a sign stating you can use the laundromat at marine city (if you need your clothes washed quicker than their 5 hour turn around) so I asked her where the laundromat at marine city was and she answered “I don’t know, look it up on google”, after an hour of searching google I was not able to find it and I went back and asked here again whereupon she printed me a map with directions (already prepared for guests). Why not just give me that in the first instance. At check out she claimed I had not paid for the room when I had - turns out she was looking at the wrong date Yes it is cheap and if price and location is the only thing you value then it is a great place for you but I also value service, atmosphere and cleanliness so it was not a great place for my family

Comfortable bed with curtain for more privacy. Soft pillow, duvet and mattress. AC in the room. Clean rooms. 2 hand towels provided. Nice common area on ground floor with full kitchen to allow you to cook your own food if you want including a hob, pots and pans etc. Free water. Short walk to a supermarket or local Mart for food made it ideal. Also a nice terrace area and rooftop area to sit and chill out on. Cafe across the road with discounted breakfast for guests (panini and coffee for 4000). Lovely staff, very helpful if you have any questions or issues and they have very good English. Short walk to Hyundae beach and Dongbaekseom Island and to the subway green line at Dongbaek. Found it difficult to meet other travellers, not very social in that respect

Having booked around 10 + accommodation during my trip around Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea, many of them hostels, I was disappointed with this one. On the one hand, the room was big and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. On the other hand, though I wasn't expecting amenities as it is a hostel, I was surprised to find that the Deluxe Double Room I had booked came without even a simple kettle and mugs in it. There were signs plastered around the room and hostel to not have food in your bedroom and not touch the AC settings and you were forced to go downstairs even just for some water. These signs and rules left me feeling pretty unwelcome, especially after I had already been downgraded to no free breakfast. Yes, the employee was not to blame, management had decided this a month prior to my visit, but no sort of compensation or even just a notification was provided. Considering this was one of the reasons I booked this hostel over others, that definitely put a dampener on the stay. Location-wise, it has great accessibility to Haeundae beach and restaurant strip but was around 1hr 20min away from central Busan and sights like the Gamcheon culture village and BIFF street. That is worth bearing in mind depending on what type of holiday you have planned.

My friend recommended me to jump on the private room with a private bath in this hostel. The room is really an officetel converted into a bedroom area with a smaller room fitted with an open shower and toilet. The condition of the bathroom has seen better days (cracks, mold, some flies out of the drain) but provided rubber slippers and being ensuite at this rate was much more than I expected. The bedroom had its own AC unit which was useful for my sensitivity to the cold, and the bed itself was soft. The staff spoke English fluently and were very helpful. They directed me to where I could keep my luggage for the day and explained how breakfast worked in the hostel as well.
