An OK place to stay with a relatively good location and pricing but beware, Marriott BONVoy elite member, no free breakfast, regardless of your status. The room is on the small side but is relatively new. The higher floor partial ocean view room is quiet. It's within walking distance of Haeundae beach and the new capsule train ride along the coast, metro bus, and tram bus stops are nearby as well.
Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Room was a bit on the small side but it was clean ,comfortable and modern. I misplaced an article at the hotel that was promptly addressed by the friendly staffs whom I interacted with (didn’t get their names) but it was a male and a female on duty. Although they were unable to find it, I appreciate their effort to locate it for me. Would definitely consider staying at this property the next time I’m in Busan.
I booked this through Marriott Bonvoy app thinking that I would get the best rate that way since they have the Best Rate Guarantee. Well, that was a joke. As I was checking in, I could see the people next to me were paying significantly less than I was - so when I (eventually, see below) got to my room I sent in a claim. That was rejected because it was too close to the check-in time! clearly they do not want people claiming when they can actually SEE they are being scammed. So, back to the hotel. We checked in and were given an upgrade to a Super King room. Sounded good - but when we arrived in the room we found this massive bed (you could sleep 4 people in it) and absolutely no space at all in the room for luggage or anything. When we checked in, they clearly said that the room was the same size just the bed was bigger. So we went back down and asked forr a normal bed - and were given a room MUCH smaller than the first - so there was STILL no space in the room. Back down to reception. They insisted the two rooms were the same size and the manager came back up to "show me" they are the same size. Well, they are not. In fact, you can see even on the fire escape map that they are not the same size. Anyway, we chose the bigger room with the stupidly large bed since at least it felt a bigger even if there was no space for luggage. I asked about a free drink (our Marriott amenity - in the Four Points in Seoul they gave us two cans of soda) but apparently here there are "no drinks". Even though there is a fridge with cans in the lobby. AND there is NO BREAKFAST - not even to pay extra for - in fact no restaurant of any kind in the hotel! So we have nothing to eat tomorrow morning - no supermarket anywhere near, no other obvious breakfast joints anywhere near. Other than that, the room is boiling with no air conditioning. There is a kettle but no tea (only green tea). There is a coffee machine. There is a shower and toilet and a sliding partition between the bedroom and bathroom area - I tried to slide it open and it trapped my fingers in the partition which was really painful and so dangerous. Our room overlooks a building site - if you squint you can see the sea in the distance. (not the beach). Overall an utterly disappointing and totally overpriced stay. (I'm a top tier marrriot bonvoy member - that didn't mean squat).…
There are more than dozens of hotels in the area where you can stay in a better room with less money that provides better service. The room is very tiny, I mean literally sooo tiny so that one person can barely fit in the room. The hotel service was terrible, the parking assistant and front desk personnel were very impolite and rude when I arrived at the hotel. Moreover, there was no breakfast available when I got there. The upgrade for higher tier members was a joke but they still bragged about it.
Room is smaller than i thought and there is almost no space to have food or beer in the room. This hotel is located behind Paradise hotel, easy to access the beach and food market. But since many hotels that are closer to the beach and have bigger rooms with almost same price in this area. I'm not sure if I would stay here again or not.
This hotel is located near the beach, not exactly 200m, but still reachable by walking. The hotel has a tiny front desk where 2 people are working, and next to them, separated by a wall, is where the manager is hiding, following everything but not showing himself or herself. I have booked a Deluxe Room, that is already not the cheapest but second highest room category. As a Platinum member I was entitled to receive the highest possible room upgrade. Jenny at the front desk undertook multiple attempts to avoid an upgrade: First she said, all rooms are of the same type, but she has already "upgraded" me to a higher floor. Wow! So it was not at all an upgrade of room type. And a lie it was too. I had to prove her on the internet, that not all rooms are of same room type and there are still upgrade possibilities. Than she claimed all higher room types are sold out. I had once again to prove her that using my Bonvoy Marriott app I can book multiple higher room types, they are not sold out and her statement is wrong again. Then she felt the need to ask her manager what to do next. She returned quickly saying "ok we can give you the upgrade". Arrived on the room, it was a standard room, just as big as the bed itself. It was even a downgrade to what I have actually booked! Incredible, once again an attempt to avoid an upgrade. Went back to the front desk asking to speak the hotel manager. She knew exactly why, I did not even needed to explain. She immediately gave me the upgrade, the manager preferred to stay hidden although I really wanted to see him/her. This is fraudulent behaviour of front desk backed by the manager. On top of all, it turns out, the hotel restaurant is closed, no breakfast will be given, due to Corona, she said. Well that's great! I just stayed in other hotels where breakfast was served! And why did the hotel not bother to mention upon placing the booking, that, while still included in the package, no breaksfast is actually available. Of course there is no executive floor, executive launge or happy hour too. Not even a minibar on the room. The refrigerator is only equipped with two small bottles of water! Can't even buy something here. The rooms are otherwise in good condition but really small, even in that category, tiny in space. The TV has no CNN and less choices than normal here. All in all this place is clearly not recommendable, no recognition of Platinum Members, misleading and deceiving front desk staff, hiding hotel manager, definitely a nogo for a Marriott member hotel. Substandard hotel not worth to be a Marriott member. Shame on you, hotel manager, you should travel abroad to experience quality service elsewhere, mabye that could inspire you to do a much better job!…
Overall new and clean hotel, great bedding, friendly staff, when check out in the early morning ask the agent to assist with sending the postcard, the FD agent say there is no post service provide in the hotel, is it the post service the basic service of a hotel..... even a backpacker hostel has the service....
Good location within 5 minutes walk to haeundae beach, local street food market and easy access by Busan metro train. Room is comfy seamless check in with good service minded from the Receptionist and Housekeeping staff even Housekeeping staff can’t speak English well but at least she try to communicate to you.
Location of the hotel is very good walking distance from beach. Rooms are well appointed. Room size was too small and good only in case of single occupancy. Restaurant timing is limited. Value for money.
Excellence location and a number of eateries are just surrounding the hotel. A good view point is a beach nearby, where an aquarium is also located there. A very famous night market mostly selling local food and delicacies just 100 meter away from the hotel. However, hotel room is very small and it is not a good hotel for children. Breakfast choices are limited. Everyday serve with same variety is kind of boring.
