This hotel has a prime spot in the middle of Haeundae Beach. There are two buildings, one older and one newer. We were in the older building and it is showing it's age. The room was an ample size and well equipped.

This hotel came highly recommended yet I have to severely disagree with this hotel. I am amazed how this hotel can be rated a "Leading hotel of the world"?! I have had the pleasure of experiencing a "Leading hotel of the world" in Greece once...More
The Paradise Hotel is a very nice spa hotel with an excellent 4th floor roof hot tub and pool that has excellent views of the beach. It's a large hotel with many amenities and restaurants/bars, but the pool area is world class!
On the pricey side but perfect beach location. The outdoor pool is great, plus there are smaller warmer "pools" to relax in. We got a room in the old part of the hotel, which I didn't realize when I reserved, so be aware if you...More

There is an airport shuttle bus, that tours the hotels in the Haeundae area. The route is from Domestic Airport -> International Airport -> Westin Chosun -> Novotel -> Paradise -> Return to the Airports. I dont remember the cost, but it is far cheaper than taking a taxi. And the seats are very comfortable and wide.

This isn't a jjimjilbang, so swimsuits are required in the Cimer spa area. The Cimer area has multiple hot tubs at different temperatures, but it is all outdoors so it would depend on how cold tolerant you are whether or not using it in December would work. I think it's be awesome, personally. As for tattoos, I have several and did not have a problem, but Koreans do tend to dress more modestly (i.e., long sleeved shirts) in the pool areas. I do not think there would be an issue with tats, but if it is truly concerning, you could email the hotel to ask. There is a traditional western spa/sauna where you can get massages that I did not visit, so I do not know specifics about that.
