Floor to ceiling windows are beautiful, yes, but they make the rooms extremely warm and the A/C simply does not keep up. We had the thermostat set to 20C (the lowest we were allowed to set it) but the temp in the room was consistently 29C or higher. We had a maintenance man come inspect it but they said it was working properly. So the room was very uncomfortably warm for our entire stay, even when we kept the blackout shades closed most of the time. The second major issue is the controls for the lighting and window shades - a flat panel of about 30 buttons, with small writing that is difficult to read under ideal circumstances. If the room is dim, and if your eyes are anything less than absolutely perfect, forget trying to find the button you need. So in the middle of the night, trying to activate a night light or reading light, you will end up turning on and off every other light in the room, opening and closing window shades, and generally making a mess of it all. Very much not recommended, especially in the hot summers.…
To start off, our pre-checkin requests were not fulfilled upon checking in. The hallways are not air conditioned so it was unbearably warm and the lack of ventilation was concerning especially with covid. The room and hallways are way too dark because of poor lighting. All the lights are too dim and therefore made the use of controls for lighting and the toilet hard to see. The controls itself were not intuitive and far too difficult to use. The TVs had internet disabled so there was no way to stream cast anything. Finally, we had a suite which came at a premium but had an unpleasant view of a boat junkyard below and the building next door so there was no privacy or desire to leave the shades open Also the floor layout was awkward because there were huge columns blocking parts of the room and the bathroom did not have a door lock! Overall, I expected more out of a Park Hyatt. I’ve stayed at Grand Hyatts that were better but I thought Park Hyatt was supposed to be a higher level?…
An hour of full body massage for me and my family was heavenly. We will probably do it again in the future. Breakfast was great. The swimming pool was a bit too crowded, but that was not unexpected given this was in the middle of vacation season.
The Park Hyatt Busan is a world class hotel offering 5 star quality at a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they will make your stay even more enjoyable. Another highlight is the breakfast buffet, many healthy choices, excellent fresh fruit and eggs to order any style you like.
It was my family’s first visit to Busan. With parents-in-law and two kids, we are so glad to choose PH Busan for our stay. Staff members (especially Sue Koh) have been so helpful and accommodating, and always courteous. Views overlooking the bridge was great, and breakfast was delicious!! Definitely want to visit again, soon!!
The staff here are absolutely incredible, courteous and helpful beyond expectation. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The tv in our room could only screen mirror from Samsung devices which limited ability to watch a movie etc but was still a 5 star experience. Thank you for a memorable trip!
There are so many opportunities to upgrade of the room and breakfast restaurant foods. Maybe way of cook is focusing mainly Korean however more diversity need. Hotel lobby are very small share with Cafe due to limited space available it was not expected because of highest hotel name of Park Hyatt.
All the staffs are very very kind and professional as well. The view was totally amazing fantastic. The only thing A pool is kind of small that's a bummer. :( i experienced so many 5 stars hotels before, the park Hyatt busan was the best at all! Especially the location, Services! I wish visit again soon!
This is a typical Park Hyatt Experience that every other Park Hyatt should follow. The location is a bit out of the way from the prime beach area, but it totally makes up with the quality of rooms and common areas. Please keep it up.
A true Park Hyatt experience. If you go - YOU MUST reserve a room with a view of the bridge. Anything else is just a waste of time and money. Although a short walk to the beach, the seaside walk is enjoyable. The rooms are chic and well appointed. The floor to ceiling windows are arrest touch when enjoying the view.
