Hotel was in a good location, 1 street back from the beach. We walked everywhere in our 6 days here. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars and various entertainments were all close by. Our room had a view of the hills and the sea. Washing/drying available for free was wonderful. Bathroom was well configured- separate shower, toilet and basin. The room also had a safe, fridge and hair dryer. Breakfast was a little unusual and served in the basement which personally I find a little claustrophobic but that is a minor quibble. Free coffee machine and snacks in the foyer.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel in the Presidential Suite. It was a spacious room with king size bed, sitting area with a couch and dining table. The bathroom is also spacious with separate shower, separate toilet area, and a deep soaking tub. The room view had a partial view of the beach. The hotel is within walking distance of local restaurants and of course the beach. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Best Louis Hamilton-Haeundae for solo, couple, or small group trips.

I was recommended this hotel by a friend who liked the place. The location was near to Haeundae Beach and Snoopy Place, but need to walk quite a bit to the subway or where the main activities are. The room was dark and the carpet felt sticky. The up-side was the front desk staff were very attentive. There is also a great pork soup rice shop nearby that served a great chives mandu.

My husband and I checked in for our last three nights in Busan after spending the first two nights at another hotel nearby.

I picked this hotel because the location is still excellent but it's not on the main road in Haeundae: it's on the street behind - so the hotel rooms are nice and quiet. I didn't enjoy being bothered by honking cars and traffic in the last place.

The room 1204 (Deluxe King) was spacious and modern in design. The bed was the most comfortable (not as hard as other beds we slept on in Korea). I really liked the dark decor that was very sophisticated.

Room 1204 is a partial ocean view room, on the top floor. however during autumn the sun comes into beach facing rooms so you'll likely keep the curtains mostly shut.

There was plenty of room to move (38sqm room in total). Good blockout curtains and powerful air con. We cooled the room down in the evening so we could sleep without it on. You could open the windows but we kept them closed at night so it was quiet.

Loved the shower - the door closes fully behind you so you don't splash water everywhere. The sink was huge.

The hotel obviously reads these reviews because when we checked in they mentioned that toothbrushes cost 1000 won. But seriously, who goes traveling without a toothbrush!? Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel and an amenities pack were provided free of charge.

Haeundae Mall is about 700 metres away, as is the subway. This hotel is a good distance to walk to the "island" the Westin is on and see the nice gardens and views. Also easy to walk to the fancy Marina area away from Haeundae Mall.

I recommend The Pancake Epidemic for breakfast or Cafe 37.5 - both are on the main Haeundae Street (not the Mall but the main road running parallel to the beach) but in opposite directions. Walk through the Haeundae Grand Hotel car park to the Main Street and turn right for Cafe 37.5, which is about 350 metres away and is across from the Camelia apartments and Ops Bakery, near Starbucks. For Pancake Epidemic turn left on the Main Street - it's in the same building as TGI Fridays and a Starbucks.

Thanks for a restful break Best Louis Hamilton - wish I could live in your hotel room!

I stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting Busan. It is in a great location right by the beach with many good restaurants.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel itself is very modern and has great decor. The rooms were immaculate as well as the rest of the building.

The breakfast offered was also very delicious with both korean and western options.

Overall, it is a great hotel and i would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

As other reviewers have said, this is a newish, stylish hotel. However it has many drawbacks. Our taxi driver had never heard of it and it took quite a while and several phone calls to the hotel to find it (It's behind the Grand Hotel - which everyone knows). There were 3 of us staying (Mum and Dad plus grown up son) in our room but on checking in we were given just one key (the usual plastic credit card type) and were told that if we wanted any more they would be 10,000 KRW deposit each, which I have never heard of anywhere else in the world! When we got to the room there was a double bed and a single, as we had ordered, but only two of everything - towels, cups, glasses etc. However this was soon sorted out. The safe did not work and could not be repaired and so had to be removed and replaced (by picking it up and carrying it out - erm, not very secure then!)
The room itself looked a little small but very stylish. But it was designed by someone who has never stayed in a hotel room. The air con was very aggressive and blew directly onto you from the ceiling you as you slept, so it was hard to sleep and you woke up desiccated. There was also a very bright light on it which lit up the room. We had to tape over it in the end to get some sleep. There were not enough electrical sockets for charging devices. And the light switches were all over the place. So if you came out of the toilet and wanted to wash your hands, the light over the sink had to be turned on by a switch literally at the other side of the room. There was very little storage space for any clothes.

The reception area is very cramped and there does not appear to be a service lift as one of the lifts (of which there are two) is regularly unavailable as it is being used by service staff to transport stuff around the hotel. So waiting for lifts becomes a pain.

On the plus side the beds were of a reasonable size and comfy and the rooms clean and pretty well equipped. The shower was excellent. And they do speak reasonable English at reception.

Convenient to the beach and 10 minutes or so walk to the bus station. 7 eleven opposite.Rooms were large and a/c and showers were excellent. Staff friendly. Don't think rooms had view of beach as it was 3rd row back front beach front . For value/price and location would recommend buying you want view of sea ask hotel.

I was in Busan for 2 days and the service in this hotel is amazing. Everyone was friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Since it was low season we were upgraded to a high floor room with amazing views. It is definitely a great location with amazing cost/benefit.

The location is convenient, if you want to be around Haeundae Beach. However, the area around is not so well famed. The hotel is good, but very expensive for what it offers. The room was clean and pretty much well equipped, but really small, while extra charges applied for everything (including parking, breakfast, even... the one-use toothbrush!)
