Unfortunately this hotel is incorrectly advertised. We got to the front door and it is indeed a THREE star hotel. Google incorrectly stated four so we booked. Regardless of stars, our room has mould in the air conditioning unit and multiple hairs in the bathroom. The toilet had stains as well. The kind staff helped us change rooms but the second room also had a hair and general stickiness problem. The staff were lovely and we felt bad but we do draw the line at hair and mould and felt we had to check out as soon as we checked in. I think the issue here is of (1) cleanliness of the place and (2) incorrect information on Google and booking.com regarding stars. I cannot overstate how lovely the staff were but clearly management need to take a close look at cleaning standards.
Quite a nice ''business'' hotel in the middle of Busan, the rooms were decent and the price was very good. For budget accomodation this place is a lot better than what you'd expect. close to the MRT station, and lots of shops aboot.
Location is excellent, near to metro station exit 8 only 3 minutes walk from hotel. Restaurant every where near hotel. 7-11 only next door. Underground shopping just below lotte shopping mall. Youth street about 10 minutes walk from hotel where we get our chic-meh (korean fried chicken with beer). Morning buffet is excellent. My room is tip top and clean.
Easy to get to opposite Lotte hotel, next to station. Rooms are clean and tidy. As others have said the bed is a little hard. Breakfast has a ranges of items for everyone’s taste, east and west. If in Busan agin, would book again.
Good value for money. Pluses 1. Location. Near to seomyeon subway. Opposite Lotte Hotel and Lotte Department Store. Food street just outside Lotte Hotel 2. Clean and efficient 3. Good size room. Sufficient to move about 4. Sufficient amenities. 5. Friendly efficient english speaking front desk staff 6, complimentary bottled water throughout. 7. Good shower bath amenities 8. Good working aircon 9. Water hot enough. Very good. 10. Bath robe and slippers 11. Bed hard for good sleep 12 Good enough buffet 13. Card key only allows guest to go to own floor. Feel safe Improvements 1.Doorman to help tell taxi where to go cos all taxi drivers unable to communicate in English. Even when shown map, still unsure. So need hotel staff to write down. 2.No travel arrangments. Maybe work with an agency to provide day tours. 3. More English Channels. Even news in korean. 4. Food and beverage staff should smile…
It’s cheap for a reason, beds are hard, facilities are average but location is great. So depends what you want...Staff friendly. Breakfast very limited and showers and bathrooms leak. Housekeeping sporadic some days beds were not made. You don’t get free water and not much tea/coffee etc.
I was quite surprised how immaculately clean the hotel was. For instance, the lobby was sparkling, the hall and elevator were clean and didn’t smell like cigarette, and the room was modern and spotless that I was surprised that the rooms weren’t more expensive. The toilet automatically flushes and you can control the lights and AC, not with a switch or remote, but by simply touching the digital screen on the wall. Also some don’t like it but I really liked that the sink was outside of the bathroom because it allowed me to separate my face washing and simple hand washing without having to go into the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again when I come back next year. I also respected how the staff at the lobby weren’t gossiping but kept themselves busy and professional. They were very inviting and friendly. FYI it’s literally 10 minute walk from the station so if you can’t walk 10 minutes you should consider another hotel. For me the superbly clean, modern hotel with quiet room along with ample street stalls and restaurants right in front of the hotel were worth the walk. …
Located nearby Busan Station. Walking distance to tourist attractions place, Chinatown and texas streets. Clean and decent hotel, receptionist was helpful and able to speak English. Breakfast was suitable for the price. Recommended.
The hotel is conveniently located to nearby shopping malls and had plenty of food selection around. The room was big and clean, with comfortable bed. The breakfast food selection was decent with various selection of Korean sides. Hoping for a more friendly lobby staff for our next visit.
Room The room is good size for single. I can open my 24" luggage next to the bed. Comfortable stay. There is hairdryer, so didn't have to bring my own. Water pressure is good and good hot water supply. There is no aircon. Apparently the case with other hotels too. There is a heater. But I find it too warm. The hotel reception advised to open the window to let in the air. There is a rail next to the hotel, so I can hear train passing by. But it doesn't continue through the night. No issue for me, I am able to sleep through. Location Location has lots of food choices. Try the Egg Drop for breakfast just 1 mins walk. Tried the abalone porridge recommended by others on tripadvisor. There is a coffee shop just diagonal to the hotel which close quite late, so I got my caffeine fix. Getting there Hotel is located very near to Seomyeon station. If you have lots of luggage, I would recommend to take the taxi. The busan KTX and metro/subway are not linked. I had to walk out of the KTX to find the subway. The main subway entrance is stairs and I had to carry my 17kg luggage down the stairs. It was dark and I didn't see that there is a lift on the left some distance away and an escalator on the right some distance away. Seomyeon station is quite big and confusing. The closest exit to hotel is via Lotte department/hotel which is exit 7. There is another flight of stairs before exit 7. There is a lift for handicap. I tried to use it and was told by the station officer that ONLY for wheelchair. So I had to carry my luggage. There is an upward slope towards exit 7. At exit 7, there is an upward escalator (no downward escalator). After that, walk towards the Lotte hotel lift. Turn right to the exit and the Busan business hotel is across the road.…
