Excellent location ,this hotel is nearly Chroyang station exit 3 and easily to find the hotel because the hotel is in front of the Chroyang station exit 3 and staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and big.
If you are looking for an basic budget accommodation near to Choryang subway station, this is the one. CU convenient store just around the corner. All good if you don't mind not much privacy for bathroom usage. Frosted glass bathroom with all "sound" audible. Facing main road, morning traffic can be nuisance if you are light sleeper.
If you do not have enough budget, this hotel may be a choice. However, the location is not good, seems like the factory area, there are some outside construction near to the hotel. I would suggest you to stay near Nampo or Seomyeon. There are not many places to buy food or restaurants, seems like in the factory area. The furniture in the bedroom is very old ,the table of sink is rusty and the toilet is broken. There are mosquitos in the room that they give you the spray to kill them. In the morning, there are lots of cars sound because there are roads in front of your room window. There are no air con on 2nd floor corridor. There are loud noises in the corridor in the midnight , lots of people talking and playing and make loud noise that you cant sleep. The front desk lady had really bad attitude, She talked to us in mandarin as we don't understand her language. Even we asked her to speak in English, she didn't listen. The breakfast they provided was in Korean style, we had the 1st day, we skip it later then. Just normal but nothing worth to eat. …
We had a 4D3N stay in this hotel. Reservation via online hotel booking website was simple and we paid in full upon check-in. Lobby was bright and welcoming, check-in was quick. Reception staff could communicate in english. There was also a cafe beside the hotel to have your coffee fix. Our double room was a tad small, not much space to spread out 2 luggage. The bathroom was HUGE. Towels and toiletries were placed in a box in the room. There was no wardrobe, only tightly spaced hooks mounted on the wall. With our bulky winter jackets, we could only hang up 1 set of clothing and another set to use our creativity and hang it elsewhere. The laundry room was located in B1, with 1 washer and 1 dryer. Detergent was not provided. Breakfast was included in our room rate and i enjoyed the simple spread. A pity that the coffee machine was down from Day 2 of our stay and we had to settle for instant coffee. I hope the management would consider changing the cloth hooks to a more functional one.…
Not too bad a stay for the price that we've paid, and reasonably close to the main Seoul station, otherwise Choryang station is just a 3min walk from the hotel. Buses in front of the hotel also takes you to the Gamcheong Cultural Village and relatively easy to find with google map indications, otherwise our bus driver also indicates the village since there were other folks heading there. The room we had was relatively normal and slightly run-down, could do with some simple up-grading of the walls and ceilings. The toilets look new though. Our friends had a different room which was in a better condition so it depends on which you get. Simple breakfast included and we loved it! Home cooked and there is always a warm soup or porridge for the morning.
Location of the hotel was a plus point. Super close to 2 metro exits (one through stairs, one through lift). The bus stop right outside the hotel also brings you to popular places in Busan - such as Taejongdae and Nampo/ Jagalchi area. The rooms are really clean and the concept is minimalist. I stayed in the Business Double room for 2 nights. It was probably the smallest room in the hotel, but it comfortably fits two adults in a room with 2 big luggages and 1 small one. I absolutely love the toilet because it's big for a room of that size and the shower is just so comfortable! My room didn't have a bathtub - but my parent's room (of the same room type) had one, so I guess it depends on which room you get too. In a room of that size, all the basic amenities such as a hairdryer(which is really important to me) and a fridge are provided. The TV is really huge too. The complimentary daily breakfast is simple and not much to boast about, but I'm satisfied with it. Expect toast, salad, soup, some sides(like tofu and hotdog) that may change every day, cereal and a coffee machine. I would definitely return to Best in City Hotel to stay again on my next trip to Busan! Super value for money.…
We booked 2nights stay at Business Double Room via Hotels.com and it was worth the price we paid for as we got it at a promotional rate (booked 8mths in advance).. Located at Choryang, just need to take Subway (Orange Line 1) and get off at Choryang #114 and exit 5. Walk out and look on your right and walk only about 150metres and cross the road. Will pass by a deserted 7-11. Hotel is quite central just 1 stop away from Busan Station via subway though a bit more quieter compared to the rest of other stops. Our room #702 was on the top floor, quiet but small. Think actual room size is 60% while the remaining 40% for the bathroom. Had a big tub good for soaking hot water & shower but a bit dim dark at the toilet side. We came with a large & medium size luggage as it was cold weather (2-10 celcius) and insufficient space to put our luggage. Had to reorganize their chairs etc to be able find space for luggage. Got 2pillars/beam that took up some space. Overall, is quite happy with the room as we got discounted rates. The hotel management should consider to put more wall hangars in the bathroom and room as no space to hang our coats and towels etc. Friendly staffs though they can't speak proper English, we had problem asking for extra pillows, and lack of bath towel for 2days. If you are looking for a quieter area but not too far from busy town centre, this could be a good choice. …
Good location, clean and spacious room. Walking distance to Chinatown, and there are many local restaurant nearby, underground shopping which connecting to Metro as well. The bathroom is big but need watch out for the slippery floor.
Typical Hotel with average- good quality spacious rooms. Clean toilets with bathtub.Good value hotel but it lacks the personal touch that I prefer. Recommended hotel for a tourist but not a traveler. Location is at Choryang station( just opposite the hotel) but it is within 10 mins walking distance from Busan station. So you can choose to walk if you decide to burn some calories. However Choryang seems like a ghost town when compared to Busan station and Haeundae area. There was even a deserted 7 eleven in front of the hotel. Imagine 7-11 cashier running away from a zombie apocalypse. Store was fully stocked and electrical equipment was switched on but it was a mess and closed during my whole trip.
Don't ever prebook a room here. They charged me 174 Swiss Francs for a room booked three months early and required prepayment. The room which is like a jail cell normally goes for 70 Swiss Francs on weekends and is probably priced too high even at that rate. A real nightmare. Early birds in particular are screwed.
