During my recent trip to Incheon, South Korea, I stayed at the Orakai Songdo Park Hotel while attending a conference. Given several accommodation options, my friend and I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the conference hall and its reasonable pricing compared to the other choices.

The room we stayed in was cozy and impeccably clean, offering a fantastic view that added to the overall comfort of our stay. The restaurant, located on the 19th floor, provided an amazing dining experience with breathtaking views of the nearby park, which is another beautiful attraction in the area. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food options, albeit a bit pricey, but the quality and selection made it worth it.

The hotel also boasts a sauna and a swimming pool, although guests need to pay extra to use these facilities, which is different from what you might find in many other countries where such amenities are often included. The check-in time is from 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.

The location of Orakai Songdo Park Hotel is excellent. It is just a few minutes walk from Songdo Convensia, the convention center, and conveniently close to Incheon University Station. The beautiful Central Park is right across the road, and a Lotte shopping mall is also a short walk away, providing ample options for leisure and shopping. For currency exchange, the hotel offers this service, although the rates are slightly lower than those offered by nearby banks. The nearest bank I found was a short walk away at Oakwood Premier Incheon, next to Songdo Convensia.

The weather in Incheon during my visit in June was perfect—not too hot and not too cold—which made my stay even more enjoyable and my biggest regret is not extending my stay there by a few more days.

Overall, Orakai Songdo Park Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone traveling for work or leisure. The combination of comfortable rooms, excellent dining options, and a prime location makes it a great place to stay.

There are lots of good points about this hotel, including: efficient front desk staff that are all fairly proficient in English, clean rooms and lobby, good quality towels, air purifier in room (which was useful as we had some smoggy days while there), easy to use room temperature control, and a bidet-like toilet. The location is great, being across the road from a large park and a grocery store, as well as close to many restaurants. There is a coffee shop, convenience store, and bar on the ground floor.

I used it for about four nights for work. I've used it a few years ago, and I'm grateful for the same high-quality staff response. For some reason, when I stayed at this hotel, I was not able to make reservations, including at the surrounding hotels, and luckily, I was able to stay safely at this hotel, which was my favorite, with only one room available. The view from the room is really good, and you can enjoy a leisurely stroll in Matsushima Centrak Park in front of you in the early morning. There is also very good access to restaurants and there is a LOTTE MART within walking distance for a little shopping, so you can have a stress-free time.

Hotel rooms are nice, location is good, breakfast is good but attitude is hard nosed. I paid 480,000 won for 4 nights and they asked 154000 won just to check in 5 hrs early! Hotel occupancy was pretty low, still they did not give the room before 3pm. Usually hotels give you a room by 12-1 if you arrive early but Orakai did not. Front desk staff do not understand English properly which is not good for overseas guests. After all it’s the people and service you remember and Orakai will leave a very bitter taste in your mouth. If you are looking for a pleasant stay, avoid Orakai sengdo park

As a long-stay guest (almost 2 weeks), I find the room cleaning system very difficult. We have to wait hours for them to come clean the room and we never know when they arrive. This means you won't be able to use your room properly even if you have to work in it. I hoped to be able to work at the desk in my room and enjoy some comfort during my stay. When questioned, it's clear they have no plan: "The room would be done before 4pm." I am very disappointed with this, it is not normal for a hotel of this category, and surely not for long-stay guests.

We stayed at this hotel apartment complex from 4th - 7th April 2023 using 2 rooms numbers 1312 and 1304.
The hotel property description on Booking.com refers to an indoor pool, fitness centre and sauna facilities.
We attempted to use the hotel fitness centre but were informed by receptionists that access is only for guests who stay more than 7 days.
The receptionist then showed us a section called 'Important information' which said the Fitness centre and the sauna are closed till Dec 31st 2023!! He confirmed the Fitness centre opening times on Booking .com were incorrect but he still would not grant us access to the Fitness centre.
We requested details of the customer complaint forms but the hotel doesn't have any !! We requested the Manager contact details and were given this e-mail address and the name. We have written to the the manager but no response.

We consider the advertising misleading and guests think these facilities are available no matter how long they stay.

We complained about the lack of working air conditioning and were told it only goes on in the summer (when we arrived it was 29 degreesin the room!!)

On the plus side the rooms are very large, clean and well equipped.

Check in was fast (the only good thing about this stay). After checking in we stopped by the hotel restaurant, Thirsty Monk. Maybe I’m old but I don’t like having to shout in order to have a conversation. We asked the wait staff to turn down the music and they did: about 1 decibel. Still much too loud. Food was overpriced but not bad.

The room itself was large enough for me and my wife. However the bed was very hard. Wifi was so slow and intermittent we had to tether to my phone to get online. The worst part was the room temperature. When I pay this much for a room I expect to be able to control the temperature. I would’ve been happy with 75 degrees but the heat was stuck at 82.5 and the air was as dry as a desert. When we complained to the front desk they sent someone up with a small fan but it was like throwing ice on a fire… ineffective. This made for a very poor night’s sleep.

We will not be staying at the Orakai again. In Songdo there are much better options that allow you to control the temperature of your room, like Central Park hotel just up the street from the Orakai.

The hotel is well located. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is good.
The major problem in this hotel is the staff.

Almost nobody speaks English properly, Staff in the dining room is unfriedly, if you ask something in English, they just ignore you.

Between two meetings, I wanted to go to the swimming pool. Went there to enjoy the sun for 30 minutes. Immediately I got stalked by the staff shouting at me '4th floor, 4 th floor, 4thfloor'. Nobody told me what was going on, they did not want me to have some rest, kept on bothering me with their '4th floor'.
Finally I got upset, went to the 4th floor and apparently you have to register. The three(!) ladies (no english) asked me nothing, I said ok, here I am at the 4th floor. What's going on? The answer was 'Yes. 4th floor'. Ad i could go back. so they bothered me for 2à minutes for nothing.

This is just one example. If you run an international hotel in an international environment: hire staff that speaks English!

I think this is a good hotel with a good balance between price and quality. The view was very good. It was clean, the water facilities were fine, and the housekeeping staff was very nice, greeting me whenever I met them. The service at the front desk and restaurant was average. I had breakfast once, and the view was good, and there was a variety of food, both Korean and Western, which was nice. I wish there were more types of bread. The coffee and tea corner was not so good. I think the bed mattress and pillows were a little soft. Also, I didn't know how to turn on the heating. It was cold in the mornings and evenings, so I think it would be better if there was a little more explanation. I had a little trouble watching the TV. However, overall I thought the hotel was worth the price and comfortable.

Hi, the hotel has an early check-in but you would have to prior inform the hotel about it. We had an institutional booking, so I would suggest you to check in for the costs attached to early check-in. Its easy on the access, and their processes are very swiftly handled. Have a great time.

The Hotel is serviced by the KAL Airport Limousine (light blue bus) and the cost is 7,000 Korean Won. There are several different routes so be sure you take bus number 6707B to Songdo. The bus runs on a regular schedule daily departing the airport on the first floor at exits 4B and 11A. It takes about 30 minutes or so depending on the local traffic in Songdo. The first bus departs the Hotel at 4:54, then 5:14, 5:34, 6:14...etc., with the last bus at 19:36. There is a KAL web page, but Trip Advisor would not allow me to include it in this narrative. You can call the Hotel direct for more specific information at 032-210-7000 (from inside Korea) or +82-32-210-7000 (from overseas).

What, if any, is the charge for the airport shuttle bus service?
Answer from Captclam
97 contributions12 helpful votes
Yes. This service is provided by KAL Limo (large bus). The bus number is 6707B. Purchase a ticket inside the terminal or outside at the many ticket booths by all of the bus stops. As I remember the 6707B stops at bus stop 11 and 4 outside the terminal. Just ask the ticket agent. It is indeed 7,000 won.

Hi. We stayed there overnight on a Korean air stop over. It's a long way from the airport and Seoul. I can't remember a tour desk however the staff were offering advice to guests. Might I suggest you send an email to the hotel to confirm. I hope this helps.
