Pros:
- Friendly front desk.
- ~ 10 mins drive to the famous Seongsan Ilchulbong.
- My roommate like the toilet seat which is electronically warmed.
Cons:
- Hotel has a funny sweet smell (essential oil I suspect).
- Layout of the room is not good, especially the toilet entrance. Too congested to my liking.
- Sound proofing between rooms can be improved.
- Nothing much to explore within walking distance of the hotel.
- The toilet comes with a half transparent window shade which can be rolled up. For couple would be "useful" I guess. Kinda weird for family.
* On the side note, avoid the google map high rating restaurant - Haemalu which is nearby the hotel.

Now, about that pool—get your wallet ready! First, you pay for pool access. Feeling relaxed yet? Don’t. If you want to actually lounge by the pool, you’ll need to fork out extra for a sunbed. Otherwise, you’ll be banished to a lonely chair in the shade, far away from any semblance of relaxation at their rooftop pool.
And if you’re thinking, “Well, at least I can enjoy lunch by the pool,” think again. The restaurant is right by the pool, but here’s the catch: you need to pay the pool entry fee just to order lunch. So, if you’re hungry, be prepared to pay for the privilege of sitting in the sun with a decent towel, because otherwise, you’ll be dining in the shade with your mini-towel and your regrets.
Housekeeping? Supposed to show up every three days, but after six days, we were starting to wonder if they had checked out before we did.
As for breakfast, let’s just say it makes cereal feel like a gourmet meal. Thankfully, there’s a 7-Eleven on site, which ended up being the highlight of our culinary experience. At least the parking is free, so your car can enjoy its stay, even if you don’t.
In short, “The Best on Jeju” is more like “The Best Way to Lower Your Expectations.” They might as well rename it “The Best Way to Charge You for Everything.” Honestly, I think the housekeeping staff got lost in the dust while the pool staff were busy finding new ways to charge for sunlight.
Oh, and about the pool—don’t get too excited. Access requires an extra fee, something that was conveniently not mentioned on Hotels.com. And don’t expect to dry off properly unless you’re ready to cough up more money for the privilege of using large towels (included only with pool access). Otherwise, you’re left with small towels that barely do the job.
We were told at check-in that housekeeping would come every three days. Six days later, we were still waiting.
The breakfast? Let’s just say it’s not the highlight of the stay. The lack of variety and quality left much to be desired. Thankfully, there’s a 7-Eleven on-site, which turned out to be a lifesaver. And hey, at least the parking is free!
In short, “The Best on Jeju” is more like “The Bare Minimum.” Proceed with caution.
I went to the Front desk and ask for talking to the Manager, but the person in charge who named Nayoung Kim asked me a phone number because there's no manager at the time but didn't call me at the day. so I am writing the review.
Thank you for good memories.
With a queen bed and a single, 3 of us could sleep comfortably.
Rooms are modern, clean and located close to Seongsan Ilchulbong, and walking distance to Gwangchigi Beach (highly recommended to view Seongsan Ilchulbong).
The bad thing is we got twin bed, actually we ordered the double bed trough online application. We was so tired to asking about that and maybe move to another room.
But overall the hotel was good. We enjoyed our stay there. Thankyou.
