This is an excellent resort with many amenities. We stayed in a deluxe family room with a king size bed and a single. The room was big and comfortable for even 2 adults and a teenager. The bathroom was big and designed so that one person could shower, another could use the toilet while another person used the wash basin to wash up. If you want to use the pool, you had to register online buy scanning a QR code but it was really not much trouble to do so. We used the pool on one of the nights and it was lovely. The resort is part of a mega complex of shopping, other resorts, casino and Shinhwa World. As my kids were older, we didn't use the free passes to the amusement park. The location of the resort allowed us to go to many places around Jeju in Seogwipo. We ate at the breakfast buffet on one of the nights during our stay. It was a good buffet but too expensive for the 3 of us. There are many other options for breakfast nearby.

Me and my wife visited Jeju for the first time, and i must say that we're fortunate to have booked this hotel. The location is peaceful and close to Seogwipo's finest attractions, we got a room with a nice view of Hallasan mountain. The hotel is nice and well maintained. The best part is the service, special thanks to the front desk April for ensuring our wonderful stay, also, to Veronica for the great assistance provided when my Wife had minor injury - she accompanied us to the clinic. Thank you guys!! Everybody is friendly and helpful, better service compared to the Marriott hotel we stayed at in Seoul. Just no club lounge access for Platinum elite tier above, but we opted for breakfast at Landing as welcome gift - which is good also. Underground parking is available if you rent a car. Highly recommended!!!

1. Great location, spacious room, outdoor grounds were spacious and good for a walk.
2. Great water pressure, the cold water was amazing especially in this summer heat.
3. Front desk was helpful and responsive, we asked for help to reserve an experience on a site that only had Korean language available.
4. 95% of hotel guests are families with children and probably because it’s an integrated resort. May fit certain travel profiles.
Negatives 1. For a 5-star hotel and the prices charged, the room cleaning services were not up to standard. Eg. Used cups and glasses were not washed and just left there. This happened over consecutive days. Tea bags that have been consumed are not replaced. The used bathrobe is not replaced, there’s just one left in the cupboard for all of the days of our stay.
2. There is no coffee machine in the room (we stayed in superior king). The nearest Starbucks is situated within the mall and takes a 15 minute walk.
3. The pool and gym opens only at 9am every day. This is the first 5star hotel we have stayed in that has a gym that opens at 9. Given the gym only allows a capacity of 4, I find this bewildering and highly unacceptable. The gym is tiny compared to the entire size of the resort which is massive. There are a total of only 2 treadmills. I don’t see how this constitutes a ‘gym’ offering.
Jeju is beautiful and has many things to see and do. This ‘5-star’ hotel is not designed for couples. It’s more a one stop shop for families with young children and we don’t recommend it at all for those who don’t fall into this segment.

A large resort where you can solve everything within the resort. The staff are all friendly and this hotel is good value for money. The suite room was comfortable and the minibar was free, so I had a happy time. There aren't many people using the swimming pool, so it's comfortable to use, so I recommend you try it out. When you check in, you can also receive a free Big 3 admission ticket to Shinhwa World amusement park for free, so families with children should definitely visit. You can also experience the laser show at 8 p.m.

Overall a nice resort, but I guess would be perfect with small kids and in summer. We came during winter and with 2 full grown kids 20 and 18. Didnt use much of the resorts facilities, rooms were good sized surroundings were beautiful. Location is pretty out of all the action, but the ossuluc tea farm was nearby. You would need to drive a rental to move to other attractions. The rooms sadly despite being only about 5yrs old, shows signs of wear, the corners are dusty and mouldy, hinges are falling apart, cabinetry are peeling on the edges. As a self contained resort, fnb outlets opens from 8am to 9pm, which is quite sad. Only a GS25 runs 24hrs. Basement carpark has very limited lots, and mist lots are occupied by hotel's limosines and blue car rental. Staff were however a delight as they speak English and always serve with a smile.

This is a large hotel resort complex in the interior of Jeju island on the west side of the mountain. It has very large facilities )shopping mall, several restaurants, theme/water park, casino (for non Koreans) and swimming pools. The service overall is quite nice, and the rooms are comfortable. The food that we had was also good, this isn’t real Jeju by any means, but it is very convenient (and as we were traveling with our 7 month old daughter this was very important) the hotel is very baby friendly and offers a good range of services for children and infants.

The hotel operated several years, the furnitures and facilities not new but still had maintain. In generally, hotel market on some groups or family because in the resorts world. The buffet breakfast food choice not much and many people but manpower seems leck. You have many choice for your meals because the resorts have many restaurant. The swimming pool need advance reserve, some of the sun lounger payable. Not a outstanding hotel but it is a vaulable hotel.

Our family stayed at the Marriott Jeju Resort during early October 2019 for 3 nights and it was a terrific experience.
All the front desk staff members were very friendly at check in.
As a Marriott Platinum member, we stayed in the top level premium family room for the first night, which had a great pool and mountain views. For the subsequent nights, we elected to moved to a Deluxe Suite, which did not have any views, but was newly renovated. The Suite was large (80+sqm), well designed with modern furniture and upgraded bathroom amenities. The mini-bar items were complimentary for both rooms, but the quantity of drinks, alcohol and sweets in the Suite's mini-bar was enough to hold a party of 10+ people! Obviously, there were only the three of us (including an eight year old), so we didn't even end up consuming 20% of the mini-bar items.
The resort was huge, connected with the Shinhwa Jeju Resort next door and facilities can be shared, such as the swimming pool and gym. The outdoor skypool at Shinhwa was really fun for the kids.
Complimentary breakfast was also wonderful, with an impressive selection of delicious food to choose from.
The hotel is not located close to the Jeju city, but we hired a car and toured around the island. The Resort offered plenty of complimentary parking spots for guests.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Jeju Shinhwa and highly recommend it!
