The hotel was nice and comfortable. Very beautiful grounds. Lovely pool and real spa bath. Kids loved swimming and the pikachu blow up balloon.

Food was pretty expensive - buffet breakfast for example was KW80k per person which reduces to KW68k for guesses. However, right next to the hotel are nice eateries where KW60k can get you a decent breakfast for a family of four. One night we were lazy and didn’t want to dine out and hotel room service was expensive (eg sea bass dish was KW70k) we asked concierge to help find good delivery, whilst most restaurant don’t deliver they do allow takeaway, the concierge helped arrange for a nearby restaurant to pick my wife up to take her to the restaurant to order and to take her back to the hotel. One day we didn’t want to book a tour so they suggested an English private taxi hire which costs KW250k per day which was great. We were able to get around and go to places we want at our leisure without being rushed by the tour entourage.

Hotel was really far from the airport (1hrs drive at least) but near the Jeju temple, Alive museum, the waterfalls, the Cliff, the bear museum (where you can make teddy bears and other attractions.

Hotel rooms were clean and nice. Had separate shower from bathtubs but the toilet was not enclosed. Loved the toilet seat though with Biden and all.

In general, the overall rating for this hotel is 9.2 out of 10.
Location: It is considered locating in a resort area so it is not convenient to travel around without a car. The good thing is that the hotel provides free airport transportation. Unfortunately, there are only 3 times a day. There are restaurants nearby the hotel which is a plus. Also, the swimming pool is heated which is great. There is a playground inside the hotel including bowling alleys which are perfect for people just have a getaway.
Check-in: Check-in is fast.
Staff: All the staff are friendly and helpful except only some of them speak above average English. Communication is a challenge in some areas.
Condition: The hotel itself is somewhat dated. It is maintained at an above average level. Room condition is average as the bathtub and the washroom door are broken.
Restaurant: The Lounge and Bar is perfect. Food is delicious. Staff service is great but some staff do not speak English.
Service: It is above average. It will be better if the bed is made up properly on a daily basis.

We stayed a total of 4 nights at the Annex Wing overlooking the pool where we could see the evening performances. The room was spacious, clean and adequately maintained so essentially you do get what you paid for.

Facilities wise, there’s a spa, arcade for the kids, a bowling alley, restaurants if you decide to spend a day at this resort and not go out. There’s even a LV boutique next to the lobby.

We took the breakfast option and the offerings did not disappoint. The hotel even had an option for guests to swap out breakfast for brunch that runs from 12- 2 pm if you decide to sleep late.

Overall, this is a nice hotel though a little on the pricey side but then again this is a 5 star resort in Jeju.

I am currently staying here - last day - with my husband and young child, who has a disability and respiratory problems. Despite telling them repeatedly my son has pulmonary stenosis and asthma, they put us in a carpeted room covered in stains (it is rather gross, there is mold in the grout in the bathroom, etc.). They gave us an air purifier and we thought maybe that would be fine. But after three nights my son and I are so sick we can barely move. My husband alerted them of this yesterday and they said they could do nothing. This morning they are willing to change us, but are charging us 36,000 KRW extra. No one apologized or has offered to help us in any way. Stayed at Intercontinental Soul Parnas and am shocked by the rudeness and lack of care from staff here. If you are not-Asian, stay somewhere else x that’s the vibe I get - we are not welcome here. And I know it’s not us; we had an amazing time at the Intercontinental Seoul Parnas. What Lotte does not disclose is half of its rooms are renovated with no carpet, but you pay the same for renovated room as you do for old, dirty room. They are charging us extra because we will have a better view, not because we are staying in a renovated room. I have no idea why when I booked and disclosed my son’s disability and my own, they did not put us in an allergy- accommodating room to begin with. I know they are busy, but they were not fully booked when I booked the room.

The kids pool and play area are fun and my son has enjoyed them when not sick. We are driving away from hotel for the day to see if his wheezing gets better.

Not worth the hype. Feel we lost a good 24 hours of our vacation bc of the hotel. Also, no matter what any site says, breakfast is not included.

This was our first hotel on our trip to Jeju Island
We lived in a villa. For some reason there was a VIP sticker on the keys, which meant nothing
Breakfasts and Dinners at $4,000 for three days are not included in the price.
Breakfast is expensive
Dinner is even more expensive.
It is impossible to swim in the communal pool. It's just a soup of people!!!!!
Rescuers constantly take breaks, driving everyone out of the water; we travel a lot and this is the first time in our lives that we have encountered such nonsense.
Access to the beach is closed, most likely forever
Although it is supposedly written about reconstruction, which doesn’t even smell there
They speak very little English!!!!
Coming to the seaside and sitting in a crowd of people in the pool is so stupid!!!!
In general, it’s a very, very dubious pleasure to come to Jeju😅
For that kind of money, somewhere in Thailand or the Philippines, you can get a better quality vacation.
I strongly do not recommend coming to Jeju if you are traveling overseas

I stayed 4 nights with my family and was happy to be able to change breakfast to brunch while staying. My family couldn't get up in time to eat breakfast, so we had lunch instead. The food was delicious, there was a variety of drinks, and the outside scenery was nice.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and nice, exceeding my expectations. What's a bit disappointing is that the pool performance was in the evening, so at the peak of the day, the noise could be heard all the way to the room, and there were so many people in the pool that it felt crowded.

The layout of the rooms in the building is unusual, so the view is not good and movement is a bit difficult, but it feels inevitable as it is a large hotel. Other disadvantages include the lack of direct access to the parking lot and the long distance to the convenience store, but they are all offset by the brunch!

It’s too expensive to eat in the hotel. The buffet only restaurant is 130k for dinner and 60k for lunch. They should offer some a la carte dishes at a reasonable price. Only other options are pool cafe with chicken or fish and chips for 39k or the lounge with bulgogi for 70k. The mall next door has some overpriced restaurants. The better eating options are a taxi ride away.
The rooms and bathrooms are large. But didn’t sleep well. The aircon isn’t strong. The duvet is too thick for the temperature. They should give thinner ones. Jeju isn’t that cold indoors when the windows are closed. It’s a long walk and many steps to the beach. The hotel has ocean views but it’s not beach front. But the hotels in the area are all like that. The gym is far a bit from the rooms. The airport shuttle needs to run more frequently like every hour and a half instead of three hours.

This is not what I expect in a 5 star hotel. The public areas were grand but the room left much to be desired.

The pool was nice. It was convenient to have easy access to 7-11.

The carpeting in the room was stained. The bed was so firm, it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The bath towels were very rough on the skin.

And don’t bother paying extra for an ocean view room as you may end up with a partial view only with a building blocking half the view.

At least the room aircon worked well as it was very hot and humid during our stay.

My experience at JEJU Lotte was FAB!! Undoubtedly we had a great time. Clean property, sweet staff and also huge rooms. The only hitch is their check in timings are 3pm and no matter what they will not give you an early check in!! So that’s a huge problem!!

Ok next to the hotel there is a restaurant where you can also get authentic Veg Korean food - a huge saviour. Also seven eleven and few shopping stores.

Overall I would highly recommend this.

Ps: remember no Google maps work in South Korea

My husband, seven year old daughter and me enjoyed three fantastic nights here.

This is a beautiful resort and is perfect for families. I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a romantic place for a couple, there are kids everywhere.

Our room was bigger than expected with a nice space to sit down and a balcony.

The main feature is the very impressive outdoor pool. I often find resort pools on the cold side around the world, however, the pool temperature is perfect, you won't want to get out.

There are also three spas/jaquizzes if you want to get warmer.

They do have a strict rule of all kids under 130cms have to wear a life jacket. My daughter wasn't impressed with this. The life guards are also very strict and there were lots of blowing of whistles and telling offs, so make sure you play by the rules.

Also, I am not sure if it is a cultural or a sun smart thing, but I noticed that Korean men and women cover up a lot when in the pool. It didn't bother me, but bikinis are generally only seen on foreigners. No one will be rude or stare at you if you wear a bikini, it is just an observation.

We didn't eat at all at the resort as it was super expensive. We went to the local bagel place for breakfast and up the road for lunch and dinner. There are plenty of tasty and affordable options around.

My daughter wasn't keen to be left at the kids club so we didn't try it. We did go bowling and that was fun.

We got the free shuttle bus back to the airport (book in advance) and that saved us some $ and was a really nice bus.

The resort green washes as an excuse to save money. For example, it won't provide you with a toothbrush in your room, but is happy to sell you one.

I highly recommend this resort for families to have some fun in the sun. It has everything you need.

I didn't give the resort 5 stars as it does look a bit tired in places. There is missing paint and stuff peeling off everywhere and tiles missing in our bathroom. It didn't spoil our holiday, but was noticeable enough.

I will be recommending this place to families wanting a fun time in Jeju.
