Korean, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and Buffet) is high-end and better than expected. No need to go out of the property for dining. 3. Both mountain and sea can be enjoyed. 4. Compared to other properties, it has good values for the members incl. discount for F&B, free access to outdoor pool. 5. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Especially, my experience for check-in process was wonderful and thanks for top notch service. Demerits: 1. It takes around one hour from the airport. It runs shuttle buses for the airport and golf country club, but not many, so separate taxi fees of about 60K KRW (airport) or 20K (Golf) will be incurred. 2. It must be a family resort but some places like a resort outdoor pool or fitness are adult only (abive age of 20) 3. There are a lot of trainees besides regular employees, but sometimes they make unexpected small mistakes.

The property has hotel, resort and golf course. As it is owned and operated by Hyundai Motor Group, both hardware and software are good. (Resort is with kitchen facilities and under renewal) Especially, my experience for check-in process was wonderful and thanks to Mr. Juyoung Park for his top notch service who arranged all the schedules (separately for parents and children) even after check-out on the next day. Also thanks for complimentary upgrades to Ocean View Family Suite.
Guest rooms: Superior, Ondol, Deluxe, Executive and Suite Its Suite has nice ocean view, 2 bathrooms, spacious sleeping (2 Kings) and living area separately. It has balcony which is useful for relaxation while watching and hearing the ocean waves and also for drying the swimming suites. It has nice indoor and outdoor pool (09:00 – 22:00) as well as fitness (06:30 – 22:00) and kids club (10:00 – 22:00) I could have a chance to dine in SomMoRa for lunch buffet (12:00 – 14:30 at 65K KRW for adults and 36K for Children below 12) and it has panoramic ocean view and good values for the money after 20% discount for Haevichi members.
Another advantage is Haevichi gold club (around 20 min. by car) which is also in good condition. There is shuttle bus from Hotel to Haevichi CC and also to Airport. But, it’s too bad that there aren’t many shuttle buses and we should use Taxi which with the fare of 20K KRW one way. Otherwise, I find that the golf course is very nice and well managed.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort (not the hotel). The room was nice and included a little kitchenette and sitting g area. There was no balcony furniture, though, so the ocean view room was not quite what it might have been. Due to Coronavirus, one pool was not open and I did not mind paying for pool access as there was an outside and inside pool that were both lovely. Done restaurants were open despite COVID and they were good. Nice stay with a significant discount; normal price would be too much and the value would not be there.

This was one of the most disappointing experience we had in South Korea. This hotel unfortunately does not offer a 5 star experience: they want to be international but actually they are not speaking English well enough in order to have an understanding. furthermore, the furniture and other parts of the hotel appear with problems, it is not as clean as it was supposed to be, early checkin was possible only if you paid one additional night and nobody told us about the hotel facilities when we have arrived. My husband and I decided to honeymoon on Jeju. We specifically chose Haevichi because they have a pool and tennis court. Usually when you arrive to a five star hotel, the concierge informs you of all the wonderful amenities available to you. In this case, we were simply told what we “couldn’t do.” We would need to pay 10,000 won per person to use the pool- each time we decided to use it. Possibly by our own mistake, we booked a family room for two. We asked the concierge if we could book a smaller room instead (even offered to pay more). She passive aggressively told us to do it on our phone. It wasn’t possible obviously because it was too late to cancel.
Our plan was to spend the entire weekend at the resort, enjoying the pool, restaurants and tennis. When we realized we’d be spending so much to use just the pool, we decided to book tennis. Upon arriving to the courts, we found a cloud of insects. The court was covered in bugs- thank god we were wearing our masks. Thankfully, the concierge refunded us for the racket and ball rental.
Our room was very large, for a family, so the layout was strange. The bed was in a back room with no windows or tv. The room had no water bottles or coffee. Just two small towels. No toothbrushes (to save the environment... at this point it seemed like they were just cutting corners).
This is the first negative review I’ve ever written for a property. The hotel altogether get neglected, the staff was rude, and the room was no better than a typical airport hotel.

I normally don't write reviews as most of the hotels I have stayed at are pretty decent. However, Haevichi is by far has the worse customer service of any hotel I have stayed.I booked the honeymoon package with an ocean suite priced at about 400USD per night.
When I checked in the staff were unaware of what the package includes so I was not provided the private checkin included with the honeymoon package and had to wait in line. During the check in process they tried to explain what I would Recieve during the stay which was wrong so I had to correct them on what I purchased.
One of the mornings, we tried to go for a swim and we checked at the pool desk for locker keys and towels. The worker told us that there are two pools, inside and outside, the one on the inside requires wearing a swimming cap to enter so if we don't have one we have to use the outdoor pool.
We told him that's fine and got our keys got dressed and headed outside, after about 5 mins he comes outside and tells us that we can't use the pool outside because it doesn't open for another 2 hours... I told him that we came out because he said we can't use the indoor pool without caps to which he responded asking for our room numbers to charge us for swimming cap rentals..
As we were leaving the pool area we also saw an old lady telling to the hotel staff about a 7 year old boy in the woman's changing area with his mom, but the worker ignore her and rolled her eyes like she didn't want to deal with it.
Although the room itself was great, the service was terrible and the hotel charges you for everything you want to do in the hotel.For the price you can stay at almost any other hotel for better service.

All of the carpet in hotel side needs total replacement in rooms and hallways throughout the property. Tripping hazard from carpet wave in hallways. Also the.. pools needs more regular cleaning. The buffet needs more variety of food and fresher fruits and salads

I and my partner stayed for 5 nights and we were shocked when I heard about surcharge of sunbed at pool from check-in counter. charge for sunbed? can you tell us which country does it charge? Luxury hotel that is worth every penny! The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and great view of the grounds. The room was very spacious and had a great bathroom!
