I came here the first time with my husband and our host and two kids on a gray day. There are walking and hiking trails for varying levels of experience and fitness, as well as a beautiful rock garden and an impressive collection of insects under glass. The best part are the hot spring pools, which are less crowded and...

We visited this resort specifically for the hot springs. Two thirds of the hot springs facilities were closed for cleaning and maintenance but they still managed to charge full price. We had to purchase a towel which would have been an ideal towel if you were a new born baby. The towel was barely big enough to dry a frypan....

It is a beautiful resort surrounded by mountains. It was unfortunate that paths toward waterfalls were closed during our visit. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay. If you do not plan to utilize hot spring bath and walking trails multiple times, it makes sense just buy entry permit only. The lodging is relatively expensive.

This property is not only a resort but a sightseeing spots too. We have been here to watching beautiful mountain, nice walking trails, beautiful river around, 2 waterfalls and butterfly museum. A lot of thing to watch. If you like nature you can come and visit this place. When we were here, it was very rainy but it doesn't spoil...

Congratulations on creating a hotel in Taiwan with international standards. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Friendly, helpful service and nice surroundings. Too bad the food was usual taiwan fare for a vegetarian. Three mushroom dishes, some bitter, tough, bamboo shoots and watery soup. Spaghetti was fine, but no Parmesan or other cheese topping and no buns or garlic bread. We saw...

We've traveled many places, this hotel is by far the most remote and incredible view along with excellent service. We rode the train from Taipei and connect in HuaLien to Kwan Fu. Hotel sent a shuttle bus to pick us up at train station. We stayed in the western style room with hot spring tub inside the room. Dinner and...

Along the trails you can find streams, waterfalls and variety of plants and flowers. We went in December so didn't see many butterflies, but the spa pools were good. There is sauna as well. There is nice restaurant...

Friends brought us here for the day spa. It is great! There are various pools in the spa with different temperatures. The largest pool has a par courts of water jets. The surrounding grounds and gardens are lovely. Spend the day. I felt it was well worth it. You will feel rejuvenated!

We stayed at a different place each night with In Motion Asia (who are brilliant event organisers), and this was the third stop - rooms were great - good size with a deep natural spring in the room....food was excellent and they had a great little singer in the evening. Only down side was there was no bar !

We didn't stay at the hotel but visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon for some short hiking. When entering the resort, it all appears to be a big amusement park. However, fear not, as some of the trails are very beautiful and well maintained. The area is quite large and there a variety of shorter and larger trails to choose...
