I stayed here because of a pre-arranged 4-day safari I had booked. I was very satisfied with the hotel and the room. The beds have mosquito netting around each one, but I didn't see any mosquitoes. Glad to have the netting though. The restaurant has a fairly large selection of food, both western and Asian, and is made fresh and...

In outpost Lodge it is beautifull. My daughter and me stayed here for a few days rest before we started a 4 day safari. The garden is beautiful and the rooms are situated in the garden. We saw an owl in a tree! Very nice room with big beds and a big mosquito net. Warm water and a good toilet...

We stayed here for 2 nights before starting our safari and 1 night after finishing. The hotel was booked through our safari agency so it was smooth. The first 2 nights we had a large sparely furnished room that was a bit shabby, but on our last night we had a beautifully decorated room with more furniture. It seemed like...

Outpost is a fine budget choice in Arusha. We stayed there for two nights before and after climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. One the front end we had a room in M, which seems to be an older building but with nice stone floors and good hot water. On the tail end, we stayed in the A building that had less-quaint tile...

A nice, pleasant B & B with a homely feel. Closely situated to the center of Arusha as well as to the stations for the shuttle buses to Moshi and Nairobi (Kenya). Beautiful little garden and a tiny pool to cool off on those rare hot days in Arusha.

My friends and I stayed here in between trips (climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, relaxing at a Zanzibar resort, and a 4 day Safari). I agree with someone else's post that their booking system is probably the worst part of the experience and I would recommending calling a few days in advance to reconfirm your rooms. Other than that blip, the entire...

Stayed here first time in december 2009. The lodges were nice, beds comfortable with mosquito netting. Occasionally you could see a gecko lizard running on the walls so don't be afraid if you see something like that. Location was also nice, not too far from Arusha center.

I enjoyed staying here at the beginning and end of a G Adventures safari. Both times my room was in the A section of the lodge. The rooms were lovely with brightly colored bedspreads and curtains and gracefully draped mosquito netting. Beds were comfortable and the lodge was quiet. The shower stalls were very spacious and much appreciated after being...

I had received three email confirmations of our two night reservation, so I was rather taken aback, when we arrived at 6.45, that the receptionist, shuffling through scruffy piles of ill-matched scraps of paper, insisted that we had a reservation only for the following night - and that they were full. When I produced a confirmatory email and threatened Trip...

We stayed pre and post Kilimanjaro climb and safari. We were always glad to be getting back to the outpost. We had to spend one night at the Naaz Hotel, as we finished our hike a day early and it made the outpost seem like luxury!! The staff were very helpful, making phone calls for us and the Indian food...
