My partner and I said to each other as we were walking around the property...if we come back to Tanzania we are definitely coming back and making sure it's not one night but days! Pure oasis at Rivertrees Country Inn.

We stayed at Rivertrees twice on our Safari in Tanzania - a short lived 3 hours on our arrival and a day and half at the end. At the end of our Safari, our host at Rivertree, Baraka, went out of his way to accommodate us. Our plane was leaving at 2:30 a.m. We paid for late check-out but asked...

I love the rooms, the environment and the food at Rivertrees. I have been there twice in the last two years and miss it already. If you are heading out for safari but need a nice place to stay before or after your long road rides, this is an awesome place.

This is a great spot for having lunch with friends, getting away, or just unwinding. The food is amazing, hospitality is friendly and the views are pretty. It offers a pool and walking trials. Would recommend to anyone for a nice relaxing retreat!

good service and pleasant stay even if it was just for one night. We had just arrived in Tanzania after two days of travel, and a game drive in the Arusha park. We received a good reception: attentive staff, good restaurants, beautiful garden and coffee plantation.

Rivertrees is truly an oasis: green, river running, tall trees, excellent cottages and food. One expects Karen Blixen to walk across the yard. If you can, give yourself a rest day here if you've just flown into JRO (Kilimanjaro) before starting your safari. Great pizza from a large earthen oven.

We loved the Rivertrees Country Inn! The accommodations were very comfortable, and the setting was beautiful. We loved waking up to monkeys swinging in the trees outside of our window. The food was DELICIOUS! The staff provided excellent service and always with a friendly smile. Highly recommend this lovely inn!

An amazing location on a former coffee farm. When arriving at KIA, the trip is 20 minutes and doesn't require going into Arusha after a long trip. Staff is wonderful and Rafael and Delphine make it all work. Quiet and serene.

Rivertrees was amazing! My only regret was that we got in late in the evening, and had to leave early in the morning en route for a safari. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant, and a wonderful night's sleep in the cozy, well appointed rooms. The coffee was excellent! Rivertreest is the perfect lodge / inn as a...
