So it goes like this: our tour company took us to the Mount Meru for lunch. And it was perhaps one of the worst experienced I had in my trip to Tanzania and Kenya. The hotel staff member who showed us to the restaurant seemed a bit vacant. Me: "what types of conference do you hold here?" Him: "Conferences". Me...

I booked this hotel for 2 nights for a lux twin room. I had to wait over 15 minutes at check in and they had my details of my stay incorrect. Even though I showed them the Email confirmation they still couldn't advise the number of nights I'm staying. I get to the room which is very basic and dirty...

I didn't want to rate 5 stars because it doesn't not reflect the culture of the country. There are many accommodations that bring you much closer to Tanzania. Lodges where the culture is part of the experience. I stayed in three during my trip and it enriched my experience significantly. However, in breaking down my stays at Mt Meru down,...

Staff was friendly, everything is clean. Food, however, was not the best but breakfast had some good options. Right now highway, the main road near the hotel, is under constructions, so expect a lot of traffic jams. Price could be lower compared to european prices but oh well its Africa.

This is according to me a very pleasant Arusha hotel. Rooms are really nice and views are good as well. Breakfast served is good as well. Most of the food is good but some of the buffet served is boring. In general I can recommend mt Meru Hotel.

We had the room over looking the golf course. Very nice hotel and beautiful clean rooms and good working air conditioning. Used the spa very nice ladies to take care and very gentle and polite. The receptionist was very co-operative and granted us all our requests. At dinner time there was a lovely live band playing and the food was...

One of the better options in the Arusha area to begin or unwind from a safari. We stayed here after a long-haul to Tanzania and really spent most of it relaxing in the room. The restaurant for dinner was okay - expensive - and the breakfast was very good. The hotel had decent grounds and seemed to cater to the...

We stayed one night at this hotel before starting our safari...Sadly we arrived quite late due to traffic problems in Arusha, so we did not have the time to explore the hotel. Despite that our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very exquisite! Same goes for the breakfast, they have a lot of food to choose from! The...

I found this an excellent hotel to stay before and after the safari trip. Six members of my family stayed here and no problems. Lovely gardens and pool. Not so far from Arusha shops and restaurants. Bedroom size was reasonable.

Its a big hotel catering to business and tourists at the beginning or end of safaris and climbing Kili. The place is clean and rooms are comfy. Customer service, though, is very poor. During my two-night stay I asked to be placed in another room (same standard) when I was checking in but they said there weren't any available; I...
