We stayed here on our first night in Tanzania, we found the level of service very good, everyone was very friendly, the food was good and served buffet style so plenty to choose from, really excellent soup. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Very pleasant stay thank you.

I jchecked out yesterday after a week at the Arusha Hotel and I miss it. I had a wonderful stay. The staff was gracious and accommodating even with last minute requests in morning for taxi or extra towels. The property is gorgeous. I suggest a garden/pool view room. Mine was perfect, lovely balcony to relax on. The shower was stellar:...

We arrived in Tanzania early in the morning after a long, long flight and just needed to rest. It was lovely to be greeted by such a charming place as The Arusha Hotel. The gardens were simply wonderful, the landscape easy on the eye. After a relaxing slumber, breakfast was consumed in the luxurious dining area. The staff were friendly...

When in Arusha this is the place to stay. Just because of the history and because you will get more of a feeling about the african lifestile in general (better then in the completely closed off mount meru). Before the trip we where in room 201, which has a very nice bedroom and livingroom. the bathroom is starting to show...

If you're staying in Arusha proper, this is the place to be. Really nice rooms…excellent coffee in the lobby…aaaaaand quiet. Fantastic staff as well. We'd stayed across the street at the Palace Hotel for three nights and it was several notches down the rung.

We stayed here before & after our safari in Tanzania. Food was pretty good and staff were very accommodating. We stayed in rooms by the road at the end of our safari & it was a bit noisy. I'd recommend staying in a room away from the road. We thought it was a beautiful old colonial hotel and served us...

We stayed here our first night in Tanzania. The staff gave us a warm welcome, went through the trouble to make us feel welcome guests. The main communal room is busy with travellers. Quite an old hotel. Some would call the decor old and shoddy, but we found it quaint and characteristic of a much earlier era. The standard room we stayed in was fairly small and very noisy (don't stay in room 401 - it's right next to the staff room). It's fairly clean but again, more picky folk would find it...
