Very overpriced for what is provided. Breakfast buffet was nothing special. Reception staff were not knowledgable and rarely helpful. I had the feeling that no one wants to work there, they're all just biding their time until their shift is over. Rooms are okay but old, could use repair and painting---and don't expect hot water after 1pm. If I paid... More

This hotel is being run down! I think it has lost business to the competition. I think someone is sleeping on the job. I did not like my room at all. My first night, I saw a snail on the wall and had to request the room attendant to have a look and remove it. Water was not reliable in... More

We stayed there for 3 nights, and these were the worst nights of our visit to Africa. The first night, we arrived at the hotel very late and were exhausted. But when we turned the covers, we found the bedsheets had dirt stains. We had to call try a few times until we could reach housekeeping, and the unhelpful person... More

We stayed for one night in July to start our Tanzaniaan trip. We were a party or two people and we we're both arriving at Kilimanjaro airport at different times overnight so we arranged for the hotel to pick us up and drive us to the hotel. Punctual airport pickups with no hassle but cost $50usd each for the 40... More

This hotel seemed dated and a bit tired. The staff seemed bored and uninterested. The food in the restaurant was not good, evident by the lack of people, nothing is clearly signed so finding the restaurant was not easy and the service was very slow. Breakfast was supposed to start at 5.30am, but when we turned up at 6am for an... More

Impala Hotel is a typical local hotel that's trying to compete with the nicer hotels in the area. Unfortunately the only thing they seem to have done to compete is just raise their rates to the nicer hotels rates. The lobby is quite nice with many local carvings and crafts decorating the reception and sitting areas, almost too much though.... More

Stayed at the hotel for one night during a business trip. The hotel is on the old Moshi road and is right on a large round about. The rates are pretty high compared to the facilities. Breakfast is included in the rate and is average - nothing to complain. One problem i had is the rooms did not have air-conditioning.... More

Might not be a fair comment as I arrived the hotel at about 1:00am (in mid-night) then left early after a quick breakfast. The staffs were nice & friendly. Breakfast was okay. Room was in rectangular shape so not much free space in between the beds & cupboard. Some difficulties to move around.

Staff friendly and most helpful. Some renovations to rooms making them much more comfortable but this is an African Hotel so don't expect things to be of the same quality as North American or European hotels. Be prepared for the shower leaking onto the floor due to the poor design.

We got a very wonderful safari tour with BobbyToursiga . Our driver guide mr. Kaspa was a true professional, found in the usual places animals. We got pretty close to predator and make wonderful photos. The whole tour proceeded without any problems. We chose the Tanzania Logde Safaris package, it was little expensive, but the accommodations and food were really... More
