First night in Africa, this was a wow. Lots of personal touches such as a cafetiere and home grown coffee. Huge room with separate sitting area and veranda, comfortable bed, lovely toiletries and towels. Breakfast was waiter service and cooked to order -no queuing for the coffee machine here! Very helpful staff -for example on our return checking in the...

Whilst our short stay was due to business reasons, we honestly could not have chosen a better Lodge. The all round experience was first class with the efficient staff and management making the difference, complemented by a stunning rooms, superb food and tranquil setting. An all round very memorable experience. Looking forward to our next stay.

Dear Kevin, Thank you for taking time to complete a review of your stay. Whilst we are indeed a very tranquil setting in the coffee plantation. We are also not far from by car to the center of things in Arusha. A great alternative for the business traveler to larger corporate style hotels and glad that you felt our standard...

We wanted to go somewhere nice for our 2 year anniversary and Arusha Coffee Lodge went above and beyond. Their staff were friendly and professional and they remembered my name, even though we were only there for a couple nights. Their food was even better than I expected and their commodities were very clean. I was impressed with their comfortable...

I visit here often when wanting to treat the family on special occasions. The "fine dinning" experience is the best I have found in Arusha with wonderful steaks, vegetarian options, a good choice of wines and very attentive staff. And of course not forgetting their cappuccinos --- perfect place to relax and be spoiled.

Our room itself was really luxurious, but privacy was lacking and the staff needed more training. Everyone was just gauging for tips and it was very uncomfortable. We had three persons taking our luggage, which we thought could have been done by one person with a cart. We tipped everyone and thanked them for the service. Then one of them...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and for raising your concerns. Please be assured we have a no tolerance policy towards soliciting for tips. I am not clear from your review as to whether you were uncomfortable with the number of people involved- in the sense that you perceived it as rather over the...

We arrived at the Arusha Coffee Lodge in the wee hours of the morning. Despite our rather short stay we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, quiet, and serene. Rooms are well appointed, staff is friendly, and our breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would have enjoyed a longer stay.

Thank you for your review, Louise. Sounds like you arrived very late after what I am sure was a long flight, so I'm delighted that you enjoyed your short stay with us. A shame you didn't have a second night here. We are a perfect place to catch up on jet lag, swim, take a coffee tour, do some shopping,...

I've lived in Arusha area for 6 years and the Arusha Coffee Lodge has really become a very popular place. While there are many guests staying there while on safari, there are many people coming with their safari drivers for lunch or breakfast before heading out to the National Parks or the airport. My family goes there for the terrific...

This was our first time in Tanzania and we were recommended to stay at the Arusha Coffee Lodge by our friends. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay before our safari. The rooms or “lodges” are set around the coffee plantation and are lovely with huge bathrooms and great touches to help you enjoy your stay. It was...

Accommodations at ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE are cottage style, spread over a vast area amidst coffee plantations intermingled with mature trees. Our room was spacious, well appointed and impeccably clean, together with a modern and stylish bathroom. While hotels in general are eager to advertise their services, it's a bit the other way round at this property: the guest advisory provided...

Please accept our heartfelt apology for your experience at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and we take all complaints very seriously. I've been staying in Arusha for an extended period of time and this is one of my top picks--especially for those of you coming and going from safari, although it's a frequent meeting place for locals.
