We stayed here for one night on our way to safari. It was probably a little wasted on us, as we only really spent 12 hours here, and the rooms (cottages almost) were set up to sit and relax in and enjoy the ambience of...More

Thank you for taking the time to review Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Although your stay was short we hope you enjoyed your time with us. Hopefully, on your next stay with us, you will have more time to take part in some of the offered activities...More
We stayed in transit between safari and beach.. so only one night. After leaving safari we were grateful for a swimming pool and a shower! It's comfortable, grounds are beautiful and the shops are cute and interesting. The staff is friendly, even the on-site monkeys!...More

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us on your use of a day room with us. It is indeed a shame your stay was so short. I am glad you enjoyed the grounds, your lunch at the bistro and managed to fit...More
Rooms are just ok. Nothing much to do there. Staff were great. If you are staying over in Arusha it is a good spot out of the shanty downtown. It is also very close Arusha airport.
Arusha is definitely not a tourist attraction.More

Happy New Year and thank you for the positive comment you have made on our staff. You appear disappointed with Arusha itself. In fact, you can visit Cultural Heritage, our own Shanga complex, do a city tour, coffee tours on site and of course spend...More
We stopped here en route to Tarangire NP, and the coffee was outstanding. So much so that we were talking about it continually as our safari progressed!
Adjacent is a local artisan workshop, which supports the local community. It is good to get a tour...More

We stayed one night before starting our safari. We loved our room, and had a lovely meal at the restaurant. A great stop before or after your safari for sure. Big, comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

By local standards, the restaurant is very good. T.I.A -- this is Africa.
The outdoor setting for lunch was gorgeous, even by International standards.
Must see kind of place.

Kilimanjaro Airport is a good hour away. I would definitely pre-arrange a ride. If someone tells you the airport is close they are likely thinking of the Arusha Airport. It is almost next door to the resort. However, it... More
Kilimanjaro Airport is a good hour away. I would definitely pre-arrange a ride. If someone tells you the airport is close they are likely thinking of the Arusha Airport. It is almost next door to the resort. However, it is likely that you will be arriving at Kilimanjaro if you are traveling internationally.
