This is our 4th night at The Waters hotel and so far so good. I had originally booked a bay romance room in the original wing and the lovely staff upgraded us upon arrival to a bay grand suite where we spent our first night. Although this room offered plenty of space, two toilets

I had booked here for 4 nights, and originally booked the bay romance room- when we were shown our room we asked if we could move as the balcony looked over a carpark so the view wasn’t great. ( the main building is oddly designed as it would be much better to have all rooms faci

My husband and I have just returned from our 15 night holiday (via TUI) and we cannot recommend this hotel enough! After a 11 hour flight we were advised on the transfer that our hotel room may not be ready when we arrived. It was 9am in the morning and we were so grateful to be

After a long flight from the UK we were greeted with smiles and a lovely drink at the reception.

I can’t praise this hotel enough, the staff work so hard and they are so friendly and polite.

We had a massive room in bay wing. What a fantastic room, lovely and big with a massiv

We are considering booking your lovely hotel what is the weather like in the middle of February and is the beach near by thanks dean😎
February is a good time for visiting southern Thailand, and Khao Lak with temperatures around 33 degs. every day and usually very little rain. The beach is a ten minute walk away, but there are plenty of Tuk Tuks around if you are feeling lazy or want to explore other nice beaches. Lots of lovely beaches and tree shade at the rear if it is too hot.

Hi there. We would like to know the best beach to visit during our stay at the waters. Ideally somewhere with sun loungers and some shade. I’ve heard that some bars have loungers you can use if you buy their drinks? Thanks

If you get a tut tut at the top of the road by the waters ( turn right ) you can go to coconut beach. 600 bhat return - it’s simply beautiful and quiet. When you get dropped off get on the beach and turn left. Past the swing and there is a massage parlour, juice bar & restaurant - you get free beds if you eat at there restaurants ( the food is amazing & cheap) , there are 7 surf boarding puppies at this restaurant it’s amazing to see. The beach is magical it’s really worth the ride out. Then there white sands beach, which is further around the bay. It’s more commercial but as beautiful. These beaches are much more pretty than Khao Lak beach.

I’m thinking of going here in mid May but really wary that the weather will be terrible and ruin our time. Can someone tell me what the weather is really like in May as everywhere says different things? I know it’s not guaranteed but a good indication would be good
Can someone tell me the average cost of a meal for 2 in the area?
Depends we’re you eat and what you eat. Thai food is cheaper and well worth the money. Approx 100 bht. (£2.70) for pad Thai. Or 480 bht for steak and chips. Massaman curry 220 bht. Drinks are depending what you have also and prices vary a lot in different restaurants. From 90 bht to 150 bht for a large bottle off chang, wine is expensive usually 120bht for half a small glass. But you can get cocktail for 99 bht. It is cheap but not as cheap as we thought it was going to be. We spent approx £60 to £80 per day per couple.
