We spent 1 week there and got an upgrade into a very nice villa with pool view. We enjoyed very much the luxurious and comfortable villa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was ok. A lot of space to lie and relax but you had to go a small stair to go to the beach and into...

Arrived to our garden villa to find it smelling very musty. My toddler and husband had a bath in the giant and very slippery tub (which would have taken an hour to fill) and found themselves bathing in knots of black hair. The housekeeping on subsequent days was great. Poor wifi in room and multiple short brownouts overnight. Clientele definitely...

Stayed in Mukdara for five nights (low season). The rooms are clean and nice extra service with beach towels (you get fresh towels every evening for next day). Breakfast service was really good and we even got special bread for vegans. Thanks a lot. Hotel has a great pool area and own beach.

We have stayed here several times and really loved it but this time we felt some of the restaurant staff were less than friendly. In fact we felt unwelcome in the dining room at night and stopped eating there. Ayung at breakfast continues to be lovely but generally speaking there seems to be a bad attitude among the staff. The...

Reviews for Mukdara have been mixed and I can see where other reviewers are coming from. However I found Mukdara did suit my needs. I was looking for a hotel that would allow me to wind down and relax. Mukdara did that for me. I did not want to be hotel bound and fortunately there are some good restaurants nearby....

While this hotel has wonderful facilities, incredible location and fantastic pool, it's all outdated, the stuff is poorly trained, the airconditioning is old and noisy, our bathtub drainage was broken, the towels and bedding wasn't particularly clean and amenities were horrible-refillable containers-not very hygienic at all. We booked this hotel because of its location-it's close to the market and lots...

We had booked a trip to Thailand, with 3 nights at one very special Resort (The Surin) with a further 7 nights at the Mukdara in Khao Lak. Both parts of the trip were fully paid. We enjoy new adventures, meeting new people, interacting with fellow guests and having fun with staff at resorts during our stays, pretty normal. When...

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful. The way they designed the gardens around the pool and bungalows was stunning. I thought the staff were friendly and any problems day or night they were there to fix it straight away. Breakfast was wonderful, they cooked fresh eggs any way you like , my teenagers loved their freshly cooked pancakes. My...

Amazing hotel! Great surroundings, right next to the beach. The hotel area has two different pool areas and a big garden area where all the bungalows are situated. The breakfast was great, with a good selection of fresh fruit, hot and cold dishes and a soup and an egg chef, that prepares food on request. We also often had lunch...
