Wangcome is in the middle of Chiang Rai. The Chiang Rai night market is just down the road and is the best market we saw in Northern Thailand. The rooms are large and modernised, and the staff are great.

We used this hotel as a base for our biking holiday. It was a good choice. Not too expensive very comfortable larger size rooms. The A/C is good only drawback is the shower over the bath. We will use it as a base next year for sure

It has some charm. It was probably very elegant at one time. They take your bags to your room and were attentive to our needs. You get breakfast in the dinning room which was eggs,French toast, waffles, assortment of breads, assortment of fruits, juice, cereal and yogurt and coffee/tea. Not bad. Laundry service was quick and efficient. They have a little coffee bar and...

The best point about this hotel is its position. You can shop, swig beer, eat mango ice cream at the night bazaar, have a foot massage on the way home and step a few lightened paces back to the hotel. We stayed in low season for one night and booked, over the phone ( when in Thailand) for a very...

Big room and bathroom. Needs some updating but always clean. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Stayed here a few times. Staff have always been helpful. Quite central - very handy for markets and clock tower.

A 3-star hotel showing its age a bit but basically okay: fair-sized room, acceptably clean, boring but adequate buffet breakfast. It's just across from the night market which is its main attraction. There's Thai food there as well and Pizza and Swenson's on the way.

There was a 5 bar wifi but not available to customers, it just would never let me connect. There were no telephones in the hallway. Just one person by...
