The horticulture encompassing the hotel is a horticulturalists dream. The swimming pool is vast and perfect for morning swims. The lobby is expansive. The units are detached bungalows, which is a nice touch. The breakfast/restaurant area area is uninspiring. It's not walking distance to downtown or anything of interest but that's not a big deal..

No! I would not choose to stay here again! Pros: 1) Large swimming pool surrounded by lovely gardens. 2) Very polite and helpful front desk staff. 3) I am struggling to find a 3!! I must admit the big bed was comfortable and firm (to my liking), but the room was either like a refrigerator or a sauna with the...

Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, pretty good breakfast included, nice pool. A little way to town, walkable, or get a pedicab or tuk tuk. Like many nice places, this showed up as fully booked on AtSiam, Booking.Com, Agoda, and on the hotels website but with a call to them we were able to get a room for four days and at...

We booked our Superior Garden Room Bungalow months in advance and paid half the rack rate. Our room was very nice and close to the beautiful pool Unfortunately we were so busy with tours that we booked throught the hotel that we didn't have time to enjoy it. We pre-booked 2 private tours.. Scenic Mountains and Longneck Village Tour and...

We stayed at Laluna for a couple of days. The first bit of fun was trying to find it - as some of the maps showing the location of the hotel were wrong (we decided to walk from bus station and avoid the TukTuk mafia). I've submitted corrections to Google Maps! The main attraction is obviously the pool, and this...

Ticked most of the boxes for accomodation - and as we were staying for a week ( the average tourist stay is under 2 days ), was able to bargain down to nearly half price. It's close to town ( walkable as the city's well laid out ) but set off the road so it's quiet with a great garden...

If we'd paid rack rate this would be a straightforward three out of five, but having oaid about half this (about thb 2000 per night as I recall) it really was pretty good value for money. The resort consists of sixty or so bungalow-type rooms which are basically but comfortably furnished, and of a very good size. Teak floors and...

There is much to recommend Laluna. First of all, it does enjoy a pretty good location...not too far from town ( you can walk to the center in about 15 minutes, or tuk tuk for 25 baht) yet far enough away to have an air of serenity. The gardens here are lush and beautiful, and you stay in bungalow type...

We didn't have any expectations from this hotel (23 US$ a night...), so we ended up not getting disappointed. The hotel is located within a beautiful garden and a nice litle pool. The rooms are litle villas with very basic amenities - a tiny carpet, rock hard beds and no bath (only shower). Breakfast was horrible so we ended up...

Perhaps the best premises of all of the hotels we visited in Thailand, but sadly it is being run by a Homer Simpson clone. Rooms are good size and well presented, with huge and comfortable beds. But that is where the good parts end.... There is no pool bar! To buy drinks you have to call the bar at the...
