Three words that describe this resort are – Pleasure, Peace, and Party! Another fantastic holiday - I have stayed here three days. All the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful - as soon as you arrive you are made to feel welcome. My room is very spacious with a beautiful large comfortable bed - a mini bar, hair dryer, TV, tea and coffee facilities and a balcony over looking the beach and sea - brilliant !
Rather interesting place for city dwellers. Some hiking opportunities here but please come prepared with proper hiking gear if you intend to have some real exercise. I realised there's alot of ants moving house near the lodging area but once inside the rooms you don't see them crawling in. So I guess they are doing amazing work trying to keep pests out. The food was great. We enjoyed dinner with a oven baked pizza. We prepaid breakfast and they gave alot of food and we couldn't finish... I enjoyed my stay.
We stayed at Chestnut Hill Eco Resort for one night at the beginning of Jan. 2019. The plan was to spent one night at a calm, relaxing place after flying in to Hat Yai and then continuing to Koh Lipe the next day. And Chestnut Hill looked like a perfect choice for this. Unfortunately, our plan got shattered by storm Pabuk. We had heavy rainstorms for 24h+ and pretty much could not leave the room. From what we could see through the heavy rain (we walked around a little bit with umbrellas, but even then were soaking wet after 25 mins), this place looked a like green paradise in the middle of the jungle with great views across green hills for sunrise and sunset, a little rive at the bottom of the resort to which you can climb down, etc. Thus, we bet it's a great place run by friendly staff, but had no real chance to experience it (the same goes for Koh Lipe, which we were unable to reach as no boats were allowed to go anywhere in the Andaman sea due to the storm for some days; we made our way back north to Krabi instead).…
A tranquil and serene place to relax and away from bustle city. A resort was transform from a dusun buah-buahan (fruits hamlet) to an eco resort which you can pick any fruits like Langsat, chestnut and so all, it is all free for you to eat during your stay if you found any. Stay at Double bed with Balcony Room, well the room is small but enough for a couple or solo stay.
Chestnut Hill Eco Resort is tucked away in the mountains with well-maintained huts and rooms. Each hut/room has it's own unique plus points. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. Enquiries are answered promptly, either via email or WhatsApp. Great place for a quiet getaway if you love nature.
