The owner is very friendly and introduced us places to go. They greeted us and chat with us everytime we went in and out. The room is spacious and clean, and its nice to stay. However, if you are coming back late, you better check with them how to enter, as they will close the main door.

Seven trips later and still enjoying the best ending to our thai experience, yes we have always returned to the Donkeys Rest. This hotel in our opinion has to be one of the best, for the price you pay. We have travelled to most parts of Thailand and stayed in some pretty bad hotels and very seldom complain because we remember what country we are in. What annoys me are those people out there who are to quick to complain about the mossies, the noisy trains, the sticky floors ect ect, well this is Thailand Lets not all be to quick to write bad reviews, everybody expects different things because eveyrbody are different. Maybe two weeks in spain all inclusive will solve all your problems. This is a family run hotel and offers all you will need as a traveller or long stayer. Andy and his wife Dwong treat us well and so do all the staff, house keeping has never been a problem as with the pool and location, the rooms are all big and most have a balcony, all 10/10. Like I have said we are all different so go with an open mind and ENJOY.

Andy and his family have been very accommodating, we only stayed two nights but would be more than happy to return next time we are in Hua Hin. Lovely, clean and tidy budget accommodation with a great pool just a very short walk from the hotel. Great range of bars and restaurants just a short walk from here. Everything we wanted for a great price.

Stayed for a month. I was not disappointed at all. It was a very clean and comfortable bedroom. The hosts and staff were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. Both were really helpful and I am looking forward to staying here again.
